I’m going to be the naïve person here. But what are you using to make these? I try and look up something like this and it’s just a pay site to do something like that. Thanks in advance.

I am going to put it as politely as I can: if you have any shred of respect for artists, then stop using these, at least until protections are put in place for artists and these corporations are forbidden from using any artwork that they do not have explicit, legal permission to use.
AI-generated images are made using stolen art. It is literally automated plagiarism. It actively harms artists, be they amateur or professionals. And as an amateur artist who has published some of my work online myself, I am genuinely worried that some of my own work is being used by these corporations to make profit off of them without my permission and of course without compensating me in any way. Some people have seen entire pieces of theirs copied almost entirely, signature and all, and presented as "AI-generated".
And yes, even when it's just for shitposts for a laugh, it is encouraging and supporting these corporations, it's still bringing them profit and publicity, while the artists who actually made the work get once again shafted. It may seem like harmless fun to you but to me and to any artist out there, seeing this stuff constantly makes us feel less and less safe to publish our work online.
And that's not even getting into the times their web scrapers grab private date they have no right to even access, let alone use for commercial purposes, including medical pictures.

I don't really have a stake in the whole AI thing since I'm just a hobbyist and art isn't a source of income for me, BUT...
All I hope is that it doesn't lead to the copyrighting/gatekeeping of artstyles. That is my biggest fear out of this AI thing.

You can be inspired by someone's art without using a scraper to steal it.

Sorry, but I’m locking this because I don’t know much about the copyright stuff and I’d rather we not wade into those waters until we know more how to approach that.
