Western Australia throwing that mining money around like it’s burning a hole in their pocket.

I'm sure their EC match will be fire. More than anything I'm looking forward to the promos. Roman ain't a joke on the mic anymore. He can contend.

Perth is closer to Samoa than Philadelphia (that might not be true) so it should happen at EC

Rock/Roman not happening at a WM seems wrong.

I could be absolutely wrong and people would come back to this down the line but…
If I were TKO and the year ended for the company as bad as it did and I had the prospect of booking The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at either a show that I would already have the money for in advance or the show that’ll guarantee way more mainstream attention and appeal AND falls just after the financial year ends AND you can promote as being The Rock’s first WWE title match in 10 years…
I’m doing Rock/Roman at WrestleMania. It’s just the bigger match.
I’m not saying it will happen or I would do it personally, it just makes WAY more business sense then Cody/Roman II

Here’s my dilemma: Will it be for the WWE Title?
Because if it’s not, you could have it be another “Tribal Combat” match, and it’d be for the role of “Tribal Chief”. Rock could win that way, go on to WM to host or ref, Roman faces Cody for the title and he finishes the story.
If it is for the title..I dunno man. I. Don’t. Know.
I’m laughing at the scenario it is, Roman retains and Cody still loses at WrestleMania.

Cody is a textbook example of going to WWE to bet on yourself and then lose.
(watch this post age like milk and he pins Roman twelve times in an Iron Match match at WM41)
(and yes i realize he's a mega over face probably making bazillions more than he was ever in his career prior so he's not really losing but i am joking about the narrative goal of beating roman for the title)

That head of the table line was cold and the pop was great. At first I was like what is this aside he seemed to have finished his promo then figured where it was going after a few seconds.
My hype level for the match depends when it happens. I'd love it at EC but really don't need it at Mania over Roman/Cody.

The family history and the lineage is going to go crazy Hopefully, get some appearances or at least some type of videos from the family commenting on it in the build up

Rock/Roman not happening at a WM seems wrong. With WWE bringing in stars like Cena and Goldberg for non-US shows recently, there is something of a precedent, and also I figure they’re hoping to add more prestige to the Elimination Chamber name, so I can see it before Mania in that sense.

They want these major international PLE’s to feel like WrestleMania’s in their own right. Mania will be a huge money maker no matter what and it’s in an especially hot market. This is the chance to make a big statement about what these international shows could mean going forward. If you do Roman/Rock in Australia, you could wind up in a situation where countries are bidding or paying big, big bucks for what used to be “B shows.” I think in a world where WWE was really US-centric, yes, do it at Mania, but it’s a different world.

Aye man, if you can pull 70k+ for the rock's 1st match in Australia since 2002 & first overall in god knows how long, get roman down there, and permanently establish Australia as a premier destination for live events in the future, that's a grand slam.

The stadium where Elimination Chamber will be has a capacity seating of 70,000, so that's very enticing.

On the other hand, the Australia show is already sold out. WrestleMania has way more financial incentive because of the amount of shows being done that time and packages to be sold. Raw and Smackdown aren’t being done over there, there isn’t an NXT show down there (as far as I know), you can’t really do a Rock HOF induction in Australia etc. As a shareholder, I’d probably ask why you’d leave a bunch of money on the table to boost something that might not get the leverage you want later on.
