I think going to AEW would be beneficial for Drew and AEW. Drew can get a big moment at Wembley if he can potentially take on Osprey for the world title

Drew leaves just in time to main event All In London, loses title match to Swerve & Anthony Ogogo consoles him by singing a duet. Drew immediately hands in his notice.

I fully expect Drew to be on AEW's Wembley card next year, possibly against Ospreay as the ultimate celebration of British wrestling.

It's weird, but I have a hard time seeing where Drew fits in in AEW, since there aren't a whole lot of loners on the roster.
I'm not saying he wouldn't go to AEW, just that I can't figure out who he'd align himself with.

I'm not saying he wouldn't go to AEW, just that I can't figure out who he'd align himself with. He actually could every easily play a lone wolf character in AEW, compared to most of AEWs roster he is a huge man that can work. I think it's pretty likely he leaves though, he's stuck in a glass ceiling spot in WWE.

I don't think hes going anywhere. Punk is probably telling everyone who listen not to go to AEW.

I hope he leaves. Because he won't win either of the 3 world titles. They don't seem to want to give him a mid card title. And tag division isn't even in the cards as a loner. He's basically done it all.
AEW is a fresh break for him and he has a better chance winning a AEW title than a WWE title at this point.

Barring a shock win against Roman or a boatload of money to compensate, I think Drew is done in WWE - and they may not be able to get him back a third time.
Most likely, he goes to AEW and either joins the Blackpool Combat Club (which wouldn't be a bad fit for him), or sticks about as a lone wolf with eyes on the prize regardless of who's holding it.
Whatever CM Punk may have to say about AEW, he lost the moral high ground on that over a year ago and has since lost credibility on his past beef with WWE. He's not going to be a factor in whatever conflict is going on between WWE and AEW.

Part of me thinks he leaves WWE and goes to Japan. He'd make good money, but I think if it was just about money, he'd have re-signed a while ago. It'd be moreso that it would offer him something new to do.

It’s weird, Drew strikes me as a guy who should leave but only for a short term refresh. Like a year at most

Given the amount of people who've signed new contracts recently - I imagine he at least wants to test the free agency waters.

I hope he leaves. It’s been bad since Clash at the Castle and he deserves better.
