Most played is Atari VCS/Atari 2600. My first system and since 78 I have had a working one in my home. Still fire it up a few times a year.
Over all favorite tie between the Sega Genesis and the Nintendo DS.

I split a lot of time between SNES, NES, and Genesis. I did occasionally still fire up the ColecoVision. The controller was a little weird but the library was solid, especially for its time. Additionally, it played Atari 2600 games better than the 2600 did. Seriously, Pac-Man for the 2600 was actually playable on the Coleco. RiverRaid played without lag, which can’t be said for the system the cartridge was designed for.

PS2 is my favourite overall with the Dreamcast second. Wii is my favourite to collect for.

RiverRaid played without lag, which can’t be said for the system the cartridge was designed for. Might just be I have always had large hands but while I love the Colecovision that controller I hated. Cramped up my hand fast and felt so stiff. But then even now with my 2600 I don't use Atari joysticks on it. Nope just got a few spare Genesis OG 3 button controllers I plug in. Quick and fast top 5. 5.Dreamcast-Amazing system and if it had lasted longer would be higher up this list. 4.NES-Just the depth of the library helped it make the list. 3.Atari 2600-Nostalgia is part of it sure. Also the pick up and play and short game aspect of so many of the games adds to my love of it. 2.Nintendo DS-Owned every model that got a US release and still own 3 of them. Depth of library and just so many great games. Addd in the GBA support. 1.Sega Genesis/Mega Drive-Part of it was this is the first system to hit when I had got my first real job. Then add in through a friend I could get Mega Drive games imported from Japan when that wasn't easy. Of the 4 tvs in my home all 4 got some way to play Genesis/Mega drive games hooked up to them. Might be a hacked Genesis Mini, might be a retron 5 or might just be my trusty old model 1.

N64. I remember the first time I played Goldeneye and being blown away (because I didn’t know the controls or what a proximity mine was). Then renting the console from the video store for a weekend (who else remembers this!?) and playing WCW/nWo World Tour and just couldn’t get enough. My brother and I got one for Christmas that year and we logged a lot of time in on that console.
I still have it hooked up and will still sit and play it when I have a chance.

Silent Scope on the Dreamcast was lit. That console had good ports in general.

PS2 and Mega Drive
Had a lot of fun with my family playing Sega games. We had a really good collection of games.
PS2 was fun but my brother was growing out of games by then so i had a lot more single player games.

If the PS2 wasn't backwards compatible, I probably would've put the PS1 on there instead. But the PS2 was almost fully backwards compatible (outside of some weird bugs here and there) with the incredibly rich PS1 library, on top of its own strong library of games.

For me it's a toss up between the Sega Genesis and PS2.
