It sucks that Knock at the Cabin was so bad because the book is genuinely great

It really shows how Hollywood can even completely screw up something that is so easy to do.

Controversially I thought Knock at the Cabin was great I thought it was pretty good. I don't know if I'd go as far as to call it great, but it kept me engaged and entertained for the entire run time. As for the list - THANK YOU for there being someone else in this world who wasn't impressed by "No One Will Save You." An intriguing premise bolstered by an awesome trailer, yet it dies a million deaths after the first half-hour and feels eons longer than its 93-minute runtime. Also, as someone who saw "The Last Voyage Of The Demeter" in theaters, I agree with it being quite bad. As I was watching in the cinema, I kept thinking to myself, "Who is this movie being made for? It's too reliant on CGI, it's not scary, it's way too drawn out, and it feels entirely too predetermined from the jump, like a studio asked AI to make a movie about a vampire on a boat.

Blood and Honey is better than Exorcist Believer. I will go to my grave fighting this. Neither understood the material…but one had the audacity to pretend it did.

Knock at the Cabin is pretty entertaining but suffers from changing the book ending.

So seen 6 off the list.
The Pope's Exorcist-Big dumb fun. Yea it was nothing amazing but nothing horrible either. Made for a decent have a beer with my dad and a buddy and watch it film.
THe Last voyage of the Demeter-It is slow and odd and I am still shocked it got made after all these years of being stuck in production hell. I enjoyed it,and it is one I get why people might not like it.
Children of the Corn-I had no clue this was out. buddy was working his way thru the entire franchise and told me it was worth seeing. yea He Who Walks behind the rows looked bad,he always has. Much better than the last 3 or 4 COTC films. I enjoyed it.
We Have a ghost-Never would have watched it ,then had a few people recomend it. Works for what it was shooting for. Comedy for families with a dash of spooky.
Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey-I doubt there is a film from 2023 I saw more than this one. Yea lots of that was people would be over and learn we had a copy and want to see it. Dumb dumb fun.
I legit have no clue what the worst film from 2023 I saw was...
