Yeah. She just came back like a month ago. And she was out for a big chunk of 2023 as well.
Sucks even more since it looked like she was about to get a big push, it happened on a freaking house show. And her birthday was the next day as well.
Also wow a lot of women in NXT seem to be going down with ACL injuries. It’s getting a big concerning at this point.

This is like the 7th or 8th girl to have some sort of similar injury. When it's that many in such a relatively short period of time you have to start pointing fingers at the strength and conditioning coach.
I looked them up and she lists "weightlifter" on her Twitter account along with coaching. If I had to guess, she's pushing them to lift way too heavy and it's putting extra stress on their knees.

Yeah just in NXT Cora, Arianna Grace, Sol Ruca, Nikkita Lyons, Amari Miller, Yulisa Leon, etc have all gone down with ACL injuries recently.

Poor Cora. Just came back from injury and ACL's have one of the most brutal recoveries.
Not sure what you can do to prevent them, most are freak tweaks. Like mentioned above they're more common in women too.

NXT might have just lost their Women’s Title match for the next big show as well.

It’s not limited to NXT or even wrestling. The female ACL in any sport seems to be more prone to injury. It’s an epidemic in woman’s football with double the ACL injuries that the men get. Working theories are boys get exposed to physically demanding team sports from elementary school and build up a resistance while girls often have to wait until high school to get the opportunity to do anything other than netball or sprinting. Also wearing boots, knee pads etc designed for men might emphasize a muscle imbalance and sports such as track and field and tennis where sneakers are separately designed for men and women do appear to have less of these injuries. None of these theories is certain, there isn’t enough data yet.

It's true that ACL injuries are unfortunately much more common in women's sports. But pro wrestling isn't a sport in the same way soccer is. There are many ways to train for pro wrestling. Some mimic high level athletic training sessions while others do not. I would be curious to see data on these injuries across the world and see if there's anything we can learn from that.

The Arsenal women’s team had 4 players out injured with ACL’s last season 2 of which are still to come back from injury. Hopefully more research is done into this because it is becoming a big problem.

Basically came to post this, it's a very worrying trend in multiple sports at this point I mentioned it with the last ACL injury: When I luxated my kneecap, the doctor told me that type of injury is more likely to happen to women because they are more often x-legged than men. Sounds like a plausible factor in this.

I feel for her. Things haven't been great physically or creatively since the Roxanne feud.

It's also stupidly easy to tear the ACL in the most seemingly mundane ways. Speaking from personal experience.
Hope she recovers as quick as possible.
