I'm watching the Aug. 18, 2004 weekly PPV, and there is a terribly mistimed finish where the referee is supposed to see Dusty Rhodes hitting Andy Douglas of The Naturals, causing 3 Live Kru to be disqualified. However, the ref has his back turned and clearly doesn't see it happen. Douglas's partner Chase Stevens then physically grabs the ref and turns him around well after Dusty's interference. The ref then calls for the bell and gives The Naturals the win.

So, I went all in for the World Champion tier so I get to watch the live PPVs. Aside from a really fun main event, I thought Hard to Kill was just kinda ok. However, the following Impact for Jan 18 was such a great show that I'm now more excited about modern wrestling than I have been for years, and you owe it to yourself to check out Ospreay vs. Alexander from that show if you haven't seen it.

HTK was more setup for the year than anything culminating, apart from the name change. Lots of storylines are being put in place and wrestlers coming in, so hopefully No Surrender will have a better feel.

Here's another fun story from the old shows.
- In the summer of 2004, when Vince Russo is Director of Authority, he names Larry Zbyszko, Harley Race, and Terry Funk as the "championship committee" who will advise him.
- In November, TNA holds an election on their website where fans can either vote for Russo to stay or to have Dusty Rhodes replace him. They even have campaign ads in the build up, both of them ending with "I'm _______, and I approve this message." Rhodes ends up winning the vote, and Russo legit leaves the company until 2006.
- In December, it's announced that Rhodes is replacing Funk with Roddy Piper. Funk never actually appears on screen for TNA during any of this.

Looks like a bunch of stuff has dropped on there recently.
They announced XPlosion was returning on it…and that all previous years of it were on now too.
But I just saw a bunch of other stuff pop up on the app.
Looks like all the One Night Only shows are on there now. That over 40 shows IIRC.
They also put up all those twitch exclusives they used to do…where they’d kind of co-promote a show with an indie and run it on twitch. There are over 20 of those.
Specifically for me they also put up TNA REAction which is a show only I seemed to love,
They carved out a section for the New Japan videos. You can see Bailey and Austin’s BOSJ matches, Austin and Bey’s Jr tag league…as well as some one off matches that were on Strong or that Destruction show in Japan where Alexander and the Machine guns worked with Okada, Tanahashi and Ishii
Both season of British Boot Camp are on there along with Before the Impact, and various other content produced over the years like watchalongs and the like.
It’s a ton.
They’re down to just over a year of a gap to fill in for Impact episodes too, I believe. I think everything March 2015 and earlier and everything May 2016 and later is up. There are a few spot episodes within there but they keep plugging away at the gaps. Surprised they got all the other stuff up first tbh. But they are getting close.
So…yeah…, they dropped hundreds of hours of stuff on the app. The One Night Only and Twitch shows alone are 2-3 hour shows of all in ring stuff. And there’s over 60 of them

On the Oct. 15, 2005 Impact, several heels hold a funeral for the career of Team 3D. At the start of the segment, the camera pans over a guest book with these names at the top:
Kevin Dunn Paul H. Vince and Linda Paul and Stephanie Pat and Sylvan

The TNA+ version of the January 2007 PPV (Final Resolution) includes the backstage promo with Kevin Nash and Bob Backlund. There is a production error where you can hear ring announcer Dave Penzer addressing the crowd, and as a result, I believe the segment was omitted entirely on the DVD release.
