Just curious how it compares to the Network. They re-launched the app on the fifth and I've heard almost no one talk about it, good or bad. Here's what they promised with a subscription. -It’s a multi-year deal with TNA and Endeavor Streaming -An enhanced user experience, expanded options, and increased functionality -Stream the company’s flagship weekly TV show -View TNA’s full archive -Exclusive original content -Wrestler-created series -The chance to interact with some of TNA’s top stars -TNA+ will be available at TNAWrestling.com via iOS, tvOS, Android mobile apps, Android TV, Fire TV, and Roku, with more platforms to follow. -“Special Attraction” membership tier ($9.99 monthly or $95.99 per year) features access to the full TNA/IMPACT Wrestling library and all TNA+ special PPV programming EXCEPT for the 4-tent pole annual events -“World Championship” membership tier ($219.99 per year) includes all the perks of the Special Attraction tier plus the 4-tent pole PPV events tnawrestling.com/2023/12/08/tna-wrestling-partners-with-endeavor-streaming-to-distribute-its-on-demand-subscription-service-tna-starting-january-5/

Does it have the first episode with Cheex?
This is not a joke post. Seriously.

It's pretty good, currently subscribed and it has all the episodes.
Right now I'm up to mid 2005 after AJ beat Jeff Jarrett for the NWA title.

It has every weekly PPV that was original, though I believe it's missing some of the compilation ones. It also has every 3-hour PPV and most of the episodes of Impact.
There are no episodes of Xplosion. The One Night Only PPVs prior to 2018 are missing as well.
TNA+ also looks and functions exactly like WWE Network, which is no surprise since Endeavor Streaming runs both.

The 2019-2023 WWE Network website/app was shut down after Endeavor released their version.

So you can watch current episodes of Impact on here? I actually might check this out. The switch back to TNA branding seems like a good jumping on point.

So they don’t show one night only from before 2018? It’s probably for the best that we don’t see the devastating injury Shelly Martinez suffered. I don’t think she’s ever recovered from it.

At least so far it’s been the same night, immediately after. They’re still working their way through uploading Impacts from 2014-2016. They’ve been uploading a new month much more frequently though and should be complete before too long. I believe they have everything until October 2014 and everything after May 2016. Still filling in the gaps but they’re getting closer. They have some select episodes up from during the gap…but they’ve been uploading them steadily lately

Whether that be those events or XPlosion or something else they have like the far ahead of it’s time and one good idea Bischoff had REaction episodes. They’ve been doing weekly drops. If that continues Impact will be done in full by Spring. So they’ll move on to something else you’d think. The nearly 50 one night only events make sense to keep uploading stuff

The 2004-05 PPVs on TNA+ are the original, live versions, not the DVD edits. The DVD releases of several shows from that time had multiple edits due to Michael Shane and Billy Gunn:
- The commentary for any match that includes Shane or Gunn is re-done on the DVD releases. In the new commentary, Mike Tenay and Don West refer to Shane as Matt Bentley. Gunn is called Kip James instead of The Outlaw, the name he used on the original broadcasts.
- On the Lockdown 2005 DVD, Dusty Rhodes mentioning The Outlaw is muted but not on TNA+.
- Any on-screen graphics including either of them are blurred or changed to their later names on the DVDs.

Onto weekly PPV 3, some good stuff and bad stuff. Cage dancers seemed so unnecessary.

I signed up on the 9.99/mo tier. I wonder how long it takes for the most recent PPV to be available to stream at that tier. Hard to Kill is 10 days old but it still wants me to sign up for the highest tier to watch it. Bound for Glory 2023 is available to watch but it's from October.

I clocked it this week. Only took about 20 minutes after east coast airing for TNA+ to upload tonight’s episode of Impact

TNA liked to repeat angles in the 2000s.
- Vince Russo in June 2004 and Jim Cornette in June 2006, as babyface authority figures, sided with the heel world champion Jeff Jarrett and allowed him to keep the title after a controversial ending to his most recent title defense.
- Two days before Impact's debut in 2004, Jarrett regained the world title. A few weeks before Impact's debut on Spike TV in 2005, Jarrett regained the world title.
