m.youtube.com/@thekenjirosangaarenaScroll down you will see that he has the first seven episodes. Why is this episode much shorter than the others? m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5NG_eNVW44It clicks in at 36 mins. Whereas the other ones are 45 minutes. Now I know from seeing at least two of them, that there is a Slam Jam segment with Dok Hendrix as he promotes events coming to the NYC area (this was taped off of WLNY), so maybe that’s edited out of this episode but why is it only 36 minutes? Is there anything missing?

Ah thanks.
The segment that caused WLNY to move the show to 12a.

Episode 2 or, as Deadlock described it, "Steve Austin with the lips."

God Shotgun was an amazing show. That was the show that really showed you what wrestling could be before Raw truly caught up. Funk and Austin made me fans of theirs on that show. Goldust and Marlena were classic. When she dropped the top of her dress the distract Dustin’s opponent, I can’t begin to tell you much how much teenage me would spend on the internet trying to find photos of a shot from the front.

We can link full episodes of WWE-owned content now? Wow. Years ago when we first started being able to link to WWE-owned content, I linked the full episode of Black Saturday in a post and got a warning for it.
Anyways, early Shotgun episodes were masterpieces of crazy. Sucked that it was quickly turned into one of those syndicated recap shows.

me and a friend tried to watch a few of the club era shows a few months ago and there's a ton of weird and funny moments and some insane match ups it's just so badly paced and there's a TON of wrestling for a WWE show in 1997, like multiple ad breaks in matches and all of it stuff like the flying nuns or the b tier Raw guys just having to do house show matches and holds for hours with Vince and Sunny trying to call them the whole time.
The first episode has this weird weird storyline running through it where Sunny keeps promising we're going to see her f*** somebody on episode 2 but she announces it spitefully because Sable gets a pop from the ECW goths in the crowd

Man, the aesthetic of that show was fantastic. I'd genuinely love for a current televised wrestling show to be held in nightclubs and bars regularly.
