Real shit if this dude signed Ospreay, Mone, AND Okada within like a month and a half, that's the biggest signing streak in modern wrestling history I'd wager. That's bigger then when Cole and Danielson debuted on the same night for sure if he actually pulls this off.

when okada shows up in a hot tub on NXT surrounded by a bunch of ladies and dollar bills floating on top of the water, remember you heard it here first and NXT was always the superior choice in professional wrestling. Ok but why does that suddenly sound like the best idea out of everything so far. I'd KILL to see Okada in NXT no joke. we are blessed and it will happen, the winds are blowing towards NXT

I’ve got some issues with the way they book some of their stuff but I think I would prefer him to AEW over WWE. He’s got a better chance under HHH in WWE, but I’m still not totally convinced they’d treat him right.

Honestly, if AEW did sign Okada, if I’m NJPW, I’m considering ending the partnership.

Priest would somehow try to cash in on Okada's one third of the NEVER Six Man Belts and still fail lol

Honestly, if AEW did sign Okada, if I’m NJPW, I’m considering ending the partnership. Not really their fault, they didn't poach Okada from them if he opted to go and sign there I think they'd want any chance of having Okada show up like Ospreay that they can, but I have to imagine regardless they're shocked and upset, it'd be like if Cena left WWE in the early 2010's, like "Yeah now what?"...

Honestly, if AEW did sign Okada, if I’m NJPW, I’m considering ending the partnership. If that happened Bullet Club Gold would magically become just The Bang Bang Gang with no BC affiliation.

It’s a partnership like Vince and the territories were a partnership That's not really true given Mox, Danielson, and Jack Perry just appeared on New Japan to name a few, Eddie's been a great STRONG champion, etc Like AEW talent have gone over there and done plenty, they haven't been short changed in the slightest, New Japan talent has really only come over in large portions during Forbidden Door season. If the New Japan talent leave that's more reflective on Gedo and not being ready for it in any aspect it feels like.

I like to think that a couple of weeks ago Tama Tonga thought him leaving with the NEVER title was going to be the biggest departure from NJPW this year.

Another US alternative with the ability to sign and push guys was always gonna make their talents think when the time came It's why so many people are fed up with Gedo... he's not giving them reasons to stay over mainstream US television and more cash.

CM Punk is going to put Okada over for the vacant world title in Okada's first night in the company in the main event of Night 1 of Wrestlemania and he'll do it with a smile

Tony’s tweet also could be interpreted as him throwing it in NJPW’s face. Like, don’t blame the guy for being hyped, but I could easily see that being an interpretation.

This honestly feels like when New Japan lost Nakamura and Styles and Gedo just wasn't prepared for it
Idk what it is but New Japan really thinks their guys are going to be loyal no matter what and after a certain point when there's nothing left for a talent like Okada to do while still in his prime, I'm not shocked he's leaving
People have screamed at Gedo to build new talent for YEARS and he's drug his feet, and now well... some guys are gonna be sinking or swimming this year. They basically have no choice.

I didn't say he'd look happy to do it

I remember reading that the renewed Nakamura push was an example of WWE showing Okada that he'd be a good fit there since he and Okada are close so we'll see Okada's someone who wants to be world champion or just someone who wants to be in a high position making a lot of money.
