Decided to make a fun counterpart to the other thread in this section.
I'll start with perhaps a couple of oddball ones. I don't want to go with obvious choices like Undertaker or something.
I absolutely loved the original Tyler Breeze gimmick in NXT with the fuzzy clothes and the cells phone. Idk why, I just remember getting a kick out of it.
I also was a huge fan of Happy Corbin. Between the theme music, the shirts and hats, and the way Corbin carries himself.. dude came off as just the biggest jerk in the world. And I loved it. And I love how he learned no lesson from hitting rock bottom, and just became worse when he was rich again lol.

Heels that act like disingenuous babyfaces. "Hometown hero" MJF, mid-2015 New Day and especially "The Inspirational" Bo Dallas are all characters I loved.

Wacky gimmicks. The more ridiculous the better.
Power-and-paint wrestlers. I will mark out for them 100% of them time. And again, the more over-the-top the better.

A babyface character who's generally upstanding but is also an unquestioned "measuring stick ace" even to other babyfaces. 1992-1996 Bret Hart, US Open Challenge John Cena, Okada's two-year reign, Goldberg when he was booked properly, Tanahashi in general, etc.

I'm such a sucker for shitty music heel gimmicks. Honky Tonk Man, Disco Inferno, JJ, Jillian Hall.
It's such a basic cheesy gimmick but damn if it doesn't work well if you lean into it.

I'm a sucker for a very basic underdog, when done correctly. Think Sami Zayn or Bryan Danielson whenever they're babyfaces. Characters that are not firmly grounded in reality...what can I say LU spoiled me. The 2 best gimmicks in wrestling history are shoot dragon and shoot rocket powered alien.

I actually really like the "force of nature" characters like Ryback ,Miro as TNT Champs, Wardlow.
Goofy Dark Evil Doers. The Dark Order and Judgement Day are great.

I love the walking tall upper midcard babyface who just will just insert himself into a fight because he's tired of watching a heel push people around. Basically prime Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Sheamus has been like that at times. Just a guy who's like "Alright, that kind of stuff isn't going to happen around here on my watch"

I love pragmatic babyfaces. Like, the guys who won't break the rules first, but who aren't afraid to play dirty if the heels are going to.

The midcard heel with an inflated ego and insecurities that result in them constantly getting in over their heads and having to scheme their way out. Usually failing in comic and/or spectacular fashion. Santino at his best, early Shane McMahon etc.
And their close counterparts that have more of Willie E Coyote energy with their shenanigans.
Both types are great in an odd couple pairing.
However both are difficult to get right and sustain. The former get Flanderised or treated too seriously, the later need to avoid going full Hornswoggle vs Chavo or losing any credibility. My current favourite is Pom Harajuku because her comedy is to distract peole enough to shin kick them to their knees to hit her finisher.
