Not at all surprised at that. They didn’t say it but I couldn’t see the network as a stand alone thing continuing.

Can't say I'm shocked.
A soon as the Netflix announcement was made I knew this was coming.

Not in the US so I'm curious, when the Peacock deal happened did the archives all move over from the Network or was it more piecemeal? Because I imagine it'll be similar with Netflix

Because I imagine it'll be similar with Netflix I'm pretty good as long as Netflix gets all the old PPVs, especially from WrestleMania 1 until about WrestleMania 20 or so. That covers most everything I care to see again. That's all I really want.

It was impossible to find particular shows without scrolling a ton / wasting a good amount of time, anyways. Bye, bye - network!

When Michael Cole plugged the Netflix deal on Smackdown, there was no mention of WWE's video archives being part of it, just the live shows WWE will produce in 2025 and beyond. He said Netflix will eventually become the home of "all live WWE programming."

He said Netflix will eventually become the home of "all live WWE programming." That could have been because of the fact that the Peacock deal's still running for another year past when the Netflix one starts. The US being their primary market there's no point in confusing the matter on TV.

He mentioned non-U.S. markets, saying Raw will also go to Netflix in Canada, the U.K., and Latin America at the same time it moves there in the U.S. and that non-U.S. markets will get the other live WWE shows, not just Raw.

I am quite sad at this news even though it potentially saves me money. Between this and them ending dvds it feels like the proper end of an era.
I also preferred WWE having complete control over what they include. It does make me want to accelerate my journey through WCW though just in case any archive footage doesn’t get transferred to Netflix.
