If Endeavour are bought by the private equity firm sniffing around them and stripped down for parts, and the opportunity arose for Vince to buy the WWE back for less than what he was paid, he would do it in a heartbeat, otherwise no. Even in that case, he'd likely get a fight from management or a streaming service after the library.

Man, I can already picture the knuckleheads, in the crowd, doing the we're not worthy bow, as he makes his return.

This is all so disgusting and terrible. The crazy thing is he would likely have gotten out of all this if he just paid her the money he said he would. He has so much money. I guess him clearly not seeing her as a real human didn’t end once she left.

One of the big things the WWF had during it's expansion was that if talent were due money, they would get that money without any shenanigans. It's looking increasingly that it was all Linda's doing and Vince, left to his own devices, is every bit as shady as other promoters and his unmentionable friend. If you don't have the money to fight him he'll try to short-change you out of pure spite.

He fired Warrior for having the nerve to demand he be paid for a PPV in which he wrestled a major match some four months earlier.

They also tried to spin Jeff Jarrett as greedy for years when all he wanted was his PPV and merch dues early for doing an extra match outside of his contract.

Yeah if anything history should be really kind to Jeff Jarrett for insisting Vince pay him what he was owed. I will never villainize anyone for holding a petulant manchild to the letter of his contract with them. Hell, Nailz was probably in the right to kick his ass over the SummerSlam non payment, all things considered.

Yeah, it really turns out that Jarrett wasn't the jerk we all thought he was due to the stories told to us by "the office".

I think Jarrett has said he asked and got more than he probably would have otherwise. They were estimating what the payouts would be for the prior months’ shows since the numbers and divvying up of pay hadn’t been done yet and JR said $150,000. Jarrett insisted on $300,000 and ended up getting it.

I always heard Nailz was mad because his SummerSlam payoff was a 4-figure amount when he thought it should be in the 5s.

Vince did a really good job gaslighting everyone making all the people he didn’t like look bad the last 30+ years

In any event it's not a stretch to believe Pampers McGee short changed him.

Do you think that after 32 years Nailz finally feels vindicated?

How about Vince gives me his $3b, ill take the life long vacay and since he loves working so much, he can have my crappy job

If they have house shows every day, they can just rotate their stars and they could of done so in the 80s, 90s, and 00s

People are out here wrecking their bodies for this.

People are out here wrecking their bodies for this. Absolutely, and more so than in the 80s and 90s. Compare the typical WWF House show match, and most TV matches from those two decades to anything we see these days. The physical toll is more than double the amount. Modern medicine and recovery has come along way, but there is a limit. "Well we banned chair shots to the head" Great, but now watch someone neck themselves doing a Spanish fly off the ring apron.
