There will never be anyone quite like Brock Lesnar. Dude is a beast who dominated, made a tonne of money, and is an absolute star. I'm going to hold back judgement a bit for now on recent accusations, and I will say I've not enjoyed his whole run, but in ring, and as a 'WWE superstar' his presence is undeniable.

If Brock ever gets Benoit'ed, that means Hardcore Holly or Stevie Richards ended the streak Honestly they'd probably just cut out the middle man of the streak actually ending and hype up, "Undertaker went 21-0 and at WrestleMania and Roman Reigns beat him there." Benoit is still listed in the title history section on WWE’s site. No information or recap is given but he’s still there. If he’s still there, there’s no way they’re just going to pretend Brock never existed.

I'm not saying they'll completely eradicate his existence, just that whenever the subject of the Streak comes up in documentaries or recaps or whatever that's probably how they'll play it.

depends on where his final match with bigfoot takes place, if it's in the wilderness then as it is, if it's in a wrestling ring then he goes down as the one human to become a cryptid by beating another cryptid.
but it really depends on what comes out during the vince lawsuit, if he's painted as a bumbling horny drunkard with a hair trigger temper then that's how people will remember him in memes, if he's painted as a piss obsessed pervert then he becomes memed as that, if he's painted as another victim of vince's manipulations then his reputation remains more or less intact but people will see him as a bit more gullible/foolish than people thought. this depends on if they prove brock didn't know what vince was actually doing to women or not (as of right now, we don't know if he was aware or not.).

For some reason I completely blanked on Roman having that 'accolade'

He'll be back the second the heat dies down. That heat is going to linger for a while yet and Beastie Boy is on the decline physically, he's entering his late 40s, dude turned red within seconds of his match with Cody and was sweating buckets within minutes. By the time the heat does die down, the time could have ran out on the in-ring career of Lesnar. That seems like wishful thinking to me. He won the literal world title in an 8 second match where he didn't take a bump a few years ago. People much older than him, with movesets that required a lot more from them in their prime than him, have continued to work in WWE. Undertaker and Goldberg were both totally f***ing washed for years before they stopped getting used, and he is already massively well paid.

If Brock did come back say in six months, I think he could still go for another two/three years at a high level.
He's not as great as he was, but he still pulls some good matches and physically impressive things out still now and then.

I think it's a fairly positive legacy. From 2002 through his first departure in 2004, he was the most successful prospect in WWE history, one of the best pure athletes and pound-for-pound the best physical specimen of the era. From his 2012 return through 2014, he'll be remembered for continuing that physical dominance and not skipping a beat. The problem is from ending The Streak through WrestleMania 36, when his matches became formulaic and boring, with the narrative being "how many suplexes and F-5s can he hit before the match ends?"

Lesnar is a top superstar of his generation, but I don't think he's an icon. Hogan, Austin, Rock will always be Hogan, Austin, Rock, but there will be future talents who can Brock Lesnar just as well as Brock Lesnar.

A once in a lifetime talent that could have an all time match with just about anybody when he's motivated and dialed in.

I think he will be back by next Wrestlemania but he will be remembered as one of the best to do it.

His legacy will be that he is one of/if not the most physically gifted wrestlers ever in WWE. I remember seeing him when he debuted in 2002 and I’ve watched it back recently and it’s still so impressive to see him wrestler.

It's hard to really comment until we understand his full involvement with Vince's bullshit. At best, his legacy will be complicated.

But they won't be that level of "Physical Freak of Nature". They won't be as genetically gifted with a body designed solely to beat people up. They won't have the "I walked into UFC with almost no training and snatched their Heavyweight Championship because I was chiseled out of granite to beat the hell out of people" cred.

I don't see the heat dying down, tbh. Regardless if he's ever "charged," we know what he did and have the receipts for it. I can't see his in-ring work being able to overcome that.

But the match with Cody and the aftermath, not being booked for the Saudi show in the fall and now looking certain like Beastie Boy won't be at Wrestlemania, it feels like an ending. And I would have loved to have seen Brock make Dirty Dom cry for his Mami at the Elimination Chamber and get most of his sword tattoo chopped off by The Ring General in Philly. Never say never in wrestling, but in this case, I think this is the end for Lesnar in WWE.
