With all the controversy around Vince and such, do you think the WWE will even bother having a Hall of Fame this year?

Never even thought about that, but if there was a year to not have one, it would be this year.

I think they'll try to put one together since WM reached a nice round number, but I wouldn't expect a lot of inductees, or even big ones, since they'd probably want nothing to do with all the controversy. For example, I can't see someone like Batista accepting an invite.

Of course.
The public perception Endeavour is putting forward was summarised perfectly by Netflix yesterday - Vince McMahon is gone. By extrapolation, the problem is 'solved.' That's exactly what happened with Disney and Miramax after Weinstein - and would have even happened with The Weinstein Company had their financials not been in an absolute state that their own buyout deal fell apart.
They will continue on, business as usual, unless they absolutely cannot.

Wouldn't this be a good year to bring in Luger? They could use a feel-good story, and Vince isn't around to veto it.

This would be a good time to induct some folks who might have been passed over in the past. Pick a well-known jobber from the 80s or 90s, or perhaps an old-timer from the territories we might not have heard of.

Is Luger in any shape to appear at a wrestling event?
If a wrestler falling to his death isn't going to stop an event than a woman complaining about being sexual abused isn't going to stop a bunch egotistical alpha males from holding an event and making some money.

What about Ahmed Johnson? Only problem is that he might use this opportunity to take a dump on a lot of people they'd have to take his mic away and restrain him.

I'd say it'll likely be a headliner or two who can be trusted with a mic, a couple legacy inductions whose families won't object, and maybe a past referee or official. There aren't a whole lot of heroes from the old days anymore.

Would they ever induct Ted Turner? Not this year. Giving an 'enemy' of Vince a live mic wont be top of the agenda

Would they ever induct Ted Turner? now vince is gone? it's more possible it happens in the future, if vince was still there then it wouldn't happen as vince held grudges for a long ass time.

Crazy to think, Vince will most likely never be in his own creations hall of fame. What a stupid idiot.

With Rock on the board, what's the likelihood of his family going in - his mum and nan still aren't in?

Wonder with it being Philly, will Heyman be in this year? Also, Batista is still due to go in.

Yes, inductees will be told to not mention Vince in their speech but at least one will slip up and mention his name. Depending on the inductees it maybe even be difficult to make a speech without such a reference (they probably won’t induct Heyman this year, despite the location, because he’d want to mention Brock in his speech).
The slip up causes a lot of online chatter but blows over quickly.
