I was mad about them screwing cody. I was mad. Really mad. But I gotta admit they lucked into something more intriguing than just a straight match. I don't think this was some grand plan but it worked out and is pretty compelling It's irritating me that anyone actually did think this was the plan all along I can openly admit they did the right thing and this will likely lead to a more compelling story but it was never the plan and it was very clear it wasn't lol. Rock got overruled by the entire f***ing world. I never said I thought it was the plan

Okay, what happened? Missed because of work. Roman went out there and was like "You all want Rival Schools back right.. Well too f***ing bad, you're getting Clayfighter 63 1/3rd and you're gonna like it." Seth then hobbled out there and was like "Hey you barely even play video games, you're basically an idle clicker. You're cookie clicker, you're straight up cooked." Rock then went out there and showed everyone a giant 100 foot tall tree with names of his family, looking pissed off the entire time. A closer inspection shows that this is actually the skill tree from The Witcher 3. Everyone is furious. Cody walks out, says all of this is bullshit and gets slapped by Rock because Cody said Twilight Princess is better than Breath of the Wild. Rock is upset that Cody has spoken about the Nintendo family. Yet again speaking truth but being unfairly punished for it. Giant brawl ensues, poor Seth is in the corner looking for chicken mcnuggets to pass the time. Rock and Roman walk backstage and Rock says the F word to Triple H. WWE is gone forever, long live WWE.

If this is a Boom Period then we've really lost all logic on what the term "Boom Period" was actually supposed to mean lol It's getting positive feedback because they're doing what they were supposed to always be doing... they fell backwards into the story that was always over and people always wanted. Now please just have Cody win the damn thing lol We’re absolutely in a boom period. Wrestling is bigger and has more visibility then it has since the late 90’s. Yeah, and that's in large part to it no longer being a Monopoly too I don't know if we're in a Boom Period, I don't see a Twitter Trend gloat being the indication to that either, it's a storyline with a lot of attention, we'll see how much relevance WWE continues to have with it, and wrestling as a whole Not that I don't want it because I do, I just question going from one of the worst f***ing calls of the last 20 years to BOOM PERIOD in less than a week. Not clicking for me personally.

I think they do Rock/Roman vs Cody/Rollins on night one. If Rock/Roman win they face eachother night two. If Cody/Seth win, then it's Cody. I think you're onto something there. Then they do the WM14 ending on night two to set up Rock vs Roman somewhere else. Regardless of whether they came up with this two weeks or two days ago, it's potentially a great story. The video package at WrestleMania is going to be an all-timer.

WWE has been in a boom for awhile, since The Bloodline story took off and Cody returned. Their attendance has been strong for 2 years, they’re doing multiple stadium shows a year, they’re making money hand over fist, the general consensus is the shows are pretty good, this is as much of a boom period as they’re ever gonna see again.

That's why I said it. And I was just trying to say they made me interested after making me change plans to watch wrestlemania at all.

Probably, especially with Vince gone I just thought the juxtaposition was a bit much but that's just me I guess, I'm obviously happy they did this.

Fair, I think I'm looking at it too myopically in terms of people saying this is as big as the attitude era when that's a very loaded topic where wrestling will probably never completely look like that again, but I'm glad it's in a better state than it's been in a long time, and that's due to more than just WWE

You know, kinda wish Dusty was still around for a promo or 2 because he would've brought the fire.

Also, I do believe that this was the original plan. I don’t believe for one second they blew up their WrestleMania main events and re-booked them between 9pm Friday and 5pm Sunday.

Two vastly different cultures and time periods but in this current social media age, yeah WWE is definitely hot right now

I’m intrigued by best buddies Roman & Rock. Hope Heyman doesn’t get jealous lol I heard him saying "I don't represent HIM!" as HHH, Pearce et al. came out to calm everything down, so doesn't sound like it's going to be completely smooth sailing.

There's about a dozen matches that could come out of that final segment. It reminded me of the go-home Raw for TLC 2013 with Cena/Orton/Punk/Bryan/HHH/HBK etc and like then not every single one of the matches teased will end up happening.
Roman v Cody - Will definitely happen.
Roman v Rock - Probably will happen but not 1 on 1 at this Mania.
Roman v Cody v Rock - Possible.
Roman & Rock v Cody & Seth - Possible.
Cody v Rock - Possible but don't think they ever have a singles match.
Rock v Seth - Possible but unlikely.
Roman v Seth - Will definitely happen at some point.
Cody v Seth - They'll have a face v face match at some point, probably after Seth drops his title.
Rock v HHH - Not happening. I don't think HHH is taking another bump after his heart scare. Maybe they both manage a team at Survivor Series.
With the success of this press conference they're probably kicking themselves thinking they could've took an hour out of Raw or Smackdown and did it there. Youtube views are good and all but that Roman/Cody/Rock/Seth stuff at the end would have did a huge number on TV with the interest this past week.
