Any travelers here that have been some interesting places.
My last trip was to Germany to visit the Nurburg race track down there. Took a ride with one of their ring taxis, a Porche.

I been hiding from you somewhere in the crowd. (yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)
As for traveling, hardly anywhere. Greece, NYC and Annapolis, Maryland. (And Switzerland for the plane transfer going to and from Greece.)

I travel in my teens and early 20s. Since then I rarely leave the South East US.
But been to England,Germany,Canada,Mexico,Japan. Been to 49 of the 50 states, got Alaska left.
Let's see England was a quick stop on the trip to Germany. Saw the airport and what was right around it. Germany was there for a bit over 16 months. This was back when I was in the Army.
Canada and Mexico were quick trips across the border back when you just needed a photo ID to do that. Keep wanting to go down to Mexico City and hit up a show at Arena Mexico.
Japan was 2 days and pretty sure more time was spent in teh air than on the ground. Went with a buddy, spent the night at his in laws.

I lived in Japan and travelled around the country a lot while I was there. I've also been to other places in Asia such as Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Bali, and China for a very brief period when my plane landed at the wrong Shanghai airport and I had to get an emergency visa so I could get to the right airport. I don't recommend that.
Also France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Latvia, and Russia. Plus a trip to America.

Not much, tbh. Guatemala, Vegas, Texas, San Diego, San Fran, and I drove across country once to Wisconsin.
The ex wanted to go to Florida to take advantage of our Disney pass to Disneyworld but I kept prolonging that thankfully. — __ —

For a point of origin, I've lived in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Lansing areas in Michigan. Chicago for about 10 years in the middle of that.
Spent a month in Seoul dogsitting.
That's my only international travel unless you count Niagara Falls/Toronto. Canada hardly feels like international travel though growing up in Detroit.
Washington DC trip during high school. That was great. I met this amazingly cute gothy asian girl from New York at the Smithsonian Air & Space. We split off from our families and went to the Holocaust Museum, and rode a carousel. It was great. Kept in touch for awhile after that online, but that just sorta faded out as things do.
Disney Vacation Club members so Orlando. A lot. I'm sick of it, but my wife and son aren't. We usually drive because I hate flying.
Did a Mississippi river cruise in Iowa years ago pre-child. One day upriver, overnight at a hotel and casino, one day back downriver. My wife and I were the only couple under 55. There was bingo. I guess the boat being named the "Twilight" should have been a clue. It was the best though, just a nice quiet chill trip.
Long weekend up in Wisconsin while we were living in Chicago.
At this point in my life I just hate traveling.

Before Covid, I traveled all the time.
Since Covid, I don't travel very much, especially since everything is far more expensive than before.

It is weird how many Americans have seen less of the USA than I as a European have.
So far I have been to New Orleans, Providence, New York City, Niagara Falls, Flagstaff for a Grand Canyon visit, Dallas, Las Vegas, Orlando, San Francisco and Los Angeles (was gonna take a sidetrip to Santa Barbara but got sick for two days). Am dying to see Cedar Point and The Shining's Timberline Lodge.

Most spring breaks and summers were spent on the road going somewhere. For example my GF,she has been to LA,TN,AR,TX and AL. And she comes from a family with way way more money than mine. Just her daad hates to travel.

From Missouri/Illinois, been to a large portion of the states. My step-father is from England, so we went there for Christmas one year. Stayed in Manchester, went to Scotland and Wales, never got to Ireland like I had wanted but it was a blast.

Let's see I've been to the majority of states, I've traveled to Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, Spain and Japan.
I'd love to be able to travel more as I haven't left the country since 2018 but it's just not in the cards financially

It's almost seven o'clock and dinner has been sitting on the table for over an hour! The meatloaf is cold and the mashed potatoes are kind of crusty and and the lemonade I made for you is warm and the pie is already eaten up! Next time call when you are going to be so late!

Many places
My favorite is Japan, I have been there a number of times. Most recently last year to visit the Fukui Dinosaur museum.
I also loved Brunei. Lovely place, the capital city is very small and if you head just 30 seconds out of it, you are in the jungle with monkeys in the trees and crocodiles lurking at the banks of the river.
