Grayson Waller sounds like he’s a natural heel and I believe he will get his chance at the WWE World Champ Belts when the Bloodline era comes to an official end and TKO finally finds a potential new star. Since he’s often compared to The Miz, I believe Waller has surpassed Miz just for entertainment value alone.
He’s also brought back living his heel character in public. He’s got The Grayson Waller Effect talk show segment going for him, and has had his mouthy interactions toward Shawn Michaels, A-Train, Johnny Gargano, L.A. Knight, pre-Bloodline version of Solo Sikoa, Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett, Edge, the LWO, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, etc.
Hopefully he sticks around in WWE for years to come.

Wish they'd commit to actually pushing him instead of this, "Eh, maybe, we'll keep him prominent but he won't really do anything," thing he has going on right now.

I don't see him as a future perennial main eventer unless he goes on an LA Knight-esque run where every just falls in love with him, but he's a solid mid-upper carder who could believably be a good filler defense or have a good run with the IC or US belt. His peak is probably the Miz's level where he does get that "thank you" world title reign.

I think he desperately needs new gear but he's great in his role. I'm not sure I'd ever see him as a main eventer but that upper midcard antagonist Miz role is perfect for him.

That’s definitely the space he’ll be floating between as far as his future goes. I love him. Think he’s got a good shot of being a consistent main event heel. |

Unless his main roster character has changed much and he's gotten rid of that ridiculously contrived somersault stunner, I find him about as interesting as a dirt sandwich.

He's got potential but they need to do something about this Theory team. Like, NXT Waller had main event heel potential. The current one feels sorta like subdued.

I think he's got a shot a being a star but it's still rough around the edges. That said if his finish is still that stinger variation, it has to go. It's fine for a midmatch false finish like the Cody Cutter or Cena's springboard stunner but too complicated for a finisher, imo.

He reminds me of Chick Magnet Miz. Very solid midcarder but something will need to get adjusted character wise to move up the card.

The only categories in which Theory beats Grayson are in physique (Waller doesn't have a bad physique, but Austin was a professional bodybuilder) and how much of a goofus he has been made to look. Almost every time the two have been on screen, Waller has outshone Theory. |
