I don't know if it's still scheduling conflicts or whatever the reason, but Cyndi Lauper still not being in is bizarre.

That leaked list is obviously correct then as it had the US Express and Ali on it. Looking at it again and realized it just says "Wyatt" so that could mean either Bray or the Wyatt Family. I guess that will be the final one they announce. I think I'd just give Bray the focus this year then sometime in the next decade or so I'm sure the group as a whole goes in.

Vince Sr made bank on the Ali/Inoki nonsense.
Ali credited Gorgeous George as a major inspiration for his public persona.

I like Muhammad Ali getting inducted in the Hall of Fame. He did a lot for wrestling in the 70s. And he was the Special Guest Referee for the WrestleMania 1 Main Event. He was also instrumental in bringing wrestling to North Korea with Antonio Inoki for WCW Collision in Korea in 1995. Being The Greatest, he deserves to be part of the main wing of the WWE Hall of Fame & not the Celebrity Wing, since he transcends being a celebrity.

He also had a confrontation with Gorilla Monsoon, either right before or right after the Inoki match. It had Ali throwing a few jabs, and then Monsoon giving him an airplane spin.

Never would've happened and obviously can't now... but Ole would've been a great guy to enshrine him.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Which makes me wonder if and how they're gonna turn both Heyman and Lia Maivia being inducted this year into heel heat for the Bloodline.

I didn't know about Thunderbolt's amputations. Google images also doesn't seem to have recent photos, unless maybe I spend a lot of time searching. I hope he is able to make it and I also really hope no one gets him with "what?" chants. That would be pretty low but there's no surprises at these hall of fame events. You can't really go back to the intimate friends and family inductions but there's got to be a better way.

Looks like the list is accurate with Thunderbolt being inducted, I'd say he deserves it.
Not sure who would induct him though, him and Ole were close but he wouldn't have come in even if he was still around.

Just a few years ago, Thunderbolt would have been a "legacy award" when they were doing that a few years ago. Can we re-induct Bruiser Brody then please.

A number of people on social media don't know who Thunderbolt Patterson is, and that's not surprising. Honestly, I didn't know much about him or his story and I've been devouring wrestling content since the early 1990s. But I hope people have the chance to educate themselves on him, because he's a true pioneer and trailblazer in the wrestling industry. Just a few years ago, Thunderbolt would have been a "legacy award" when they were doing that a few years ago. Can we re-induct Bruiser Brody then please. Yeah, the Legacy Award was definitely WWE's way of saying "this person is hugely important in the history of pro wrestling, but we don't have the time and they don't have the name recognition to actually be inducted." Which is a shame, because the story of professional wrestling can't be told without mentioning the likes of Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Strangler Lewis, Pat O'Connor, and so many more. But as I look at the list of Legacy Award recipients, they definitely could have found time for the more "modern" inductees to be deserving of their own individual enshrinement and for their families to get a moment in the spotlight at WrestleMania weekend: Bruiser Brody, Wahoo McDaniel, Luna Vachon, Ray Stevens, Gary Hart, just to name a few. So that just leaves {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Lia Maivia and Bray Wyatt from the leaked list. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Which makes me wonder if and how they're gonna turn both Heyman and Lia Maivia being inducted this year into heel heat for the Bloodline. Yeesh. I hope not, and I hope that's not the way the fans respond. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Both Paul Heyman and Lia Maivia are integral figures in the history of the sport and spectacle that is pro wrestling, and their inductions shouldn't be tarnished as part of an angle that will (presumably) be done by the end of WrestleMania Sunday.
I still feel kind of uneasy that Rey Mysterio's induction last year was more or less used as a way to get Dominik Mysterio heel heat at the ceremony. Both Dom and Rhea Ripley should have been able to watch Rey's induction without scampering off stage for storyline purposes.
