Dom will be a face in the future, how do you do it?

Legit question. He's getting better in the ring, he's becoming more established, he's really going to be a pillar for the company. If you're booking him to be a face, one of those "he's next up guys, don't sleep on him" type of faces, how would you do it? What would work? 

The only way I can see it working is it he continues to get better in the ring and he ends up with an amazing performance whether it's in a gauntlet match or something similar to the Gunther match. Maybe he gets his ass kicked so much but he keeps getting back up forcing the crowd to root for him in a loss. Besides that I've got no other ideas because the guy's such a heat magnet.

Dude's probably gonna be a heel for the next 3-5 years.

What would you do?

Should be pretty easy, keep him going as he is but have him defend Rhea from another heel couple so it isn't just some damsel in distress shit. Imagine Kross/Scarlet saying all this shit about Rhea and being complete assholes but Dom comes out and is like "nah i don't f***in' think so". Easy easy.

I think the crowd respects Dom and they are just booing him out of respect. To turn him face though, I’d have him have a redemption arc with his dad (even though he is a deadbeat)

Yeah that was my first thought, they cheer her, it'd probably be the easiest way to get them to turn their opinion on him as well

Honestly I see him like Owen Hart: fans respect what he can do in the ring, but he takes to a heel persona like a duck to water, where turning him face would be a disservice to him.

If you had to do it, he'll have to be kicked out of, or quit, Judgment Day, most likely saving Rey from a beatdown and reconciling with him.
