Remember the Sting double that jumped over that Cage during the Hogan vs Piper Match.
Was that legit or not? I have to think if this was not in the plans, that Security would have jumped in alot sooner than they did, right?

I always assumed it was legit because once he got inside, one of the other Sting clones tried to hold him down. The camera followed him going over because the production crew may of thought it was a part of the plan since we already saw a few Sting doubles and it would not be the first time WCW had a miscommunication.

IIRC, it was indeed just a guy at ringside rushing in there.
Both the cameraman and security were probably confused from all the outside shenanigans going on and thought he was part of it.

Which is an easy mistake because WCW did this so often to a point where anyone could have done it and Tony would still think its the real Sting.

I'm blaming "Dead Beat" Doug Dellenger for dropping the ball yet again! I don't know if he was there that night/responsible, but I just want to continue the burial that started in this thread

My thread got a shout out! On-topic: The funniest part of this whole thing was Hogan throwing worked punches on the guy while Savage had to be held back because he wanted to kill the guy.
