Eddie beating Brock for the WWE title. Despite a run-in in his favor, it still felt like a definitive win.

When Raw had an hour long Cena/Michaels broadway in 2007, TNA responded by having a triple threat title match last an entire episode of Impact
It couldn't be further from the Cena/Michaels match, it had interference from literally dozens of people, but it was just beautiful stupid chaos. Peak TNA

Shane/Vince at Wrestlemania X-7 had alot going on. Vince with drugging his wife Linda and putting her in a mental home. Trish as his new valet. Shane defending his mom's honor. Mick Foley as the special guest referee. And just one week earlier, Shane buying out WCW under Vince's nose. It was as sports entertainment-y as you can get and it worked out really well. The pop when Linda got out of the wheelchair was astronomical.

It's kind of a cheat, but I'll once again point to the episode of ECW that had the Raven/Dreamer match. A wild brawl with a lot of history and stakes behind it, interference at the end from Louie Spicolli, Lupus, Chastity and Beulah, culminating in the greatest moment of Dreamer's career... then the lights went out. Cue Rob Van Dam, Sabu and Jerry Lawler arriving one by one and obliterating the entire roster... until Taz came out. Taz singlehandedly chased off everyone but Sabu, leading directly into a match between them, which Sabu won with the Bret Hart pin. Taz then beat up the refs and security, before setting up a match with Shane Douglas, where he won the TV Title.

The Raven/Richards vs Pit Bulls double dog collar match had shenanigans popping from the very start and was just the greatest thing ever.

Eddie beating Brock for the WWE title. Despite a run-in in his favor, it still felt like a definitive win. Eddie's big shrug to the camera is what did it, IMO. It created the sense that Eddie was consciously capitalizing on the interference, and made it a win for Eddie Guerrero on the terms of his gimmick.

Last week's Cope v Cage TNT title match. It helped that it was just the ending.

Eddie beating Brock for the WWE title. Despite a run-in in his favor, it still felt like a definitive win. I predict that history will repeat itself, at this year’s Wrestlemania, when Sami Zayn wins the IC title after Chad Gable runs in to deliver suplexes on GUNTHER whilst the referee takes a nap.

I can't believe I'm the first one to say Cena and RVD at ONS. I genuinely thought the outcome was going to be reversed on Raw.
