After Day 1, the leader is MysterMystery, but unfortunately he lost the team he predicted to win it all in Kentucky.
As far as who is in the best seat based on the maximum points they can gain if everything goes their way, GreyFMDan has that lead with 1840 points

Day 2 was the same as Day 1 with MysterMystery having the best first round points while GreyFMDan still has the most potential points.

So after Day 3,
AnimalBoy is in the lead thanks to Creighton's double OT win.
GreyFMDan and myself have the most potential points.

I really don’t understand how these bracket points work. The person who is now in first place is the only person with their champions eliminated. How does that work?
Also, about an hour ago we were tied for first with only one game (Yale/SDSU) left to go for the night and despite having the same result, he jumped me by 20 points?

After the first weekend, MysterMystery leads with 480 points.
For most potential points, that is still GreyFMDan with 1710 points.

I think that besides his champion being eliminated, his bracket has done very well. If you look at the Max points, you'll see it is not as high because his champion is eliminated.

Still have my Final four and 7/8 of my Elite Eight intact so I still have a chance.

After the first half of the Sweet Sixteen has ended, we have a tie at the top between MysterMystery and PushValVenis.
PushValVenis also has the best chance of winning the brackets with the most maximum number of points he can score.

With the Sweet Sixteen done, MysterMystery has the lead with 600 points.
As far as who has the best chance of winning based on maximum points available, that would actually be me with 1170 points.

Still baffles me how anyone with their most important pick eliminated can be in first place.Surely your champion being gone should damage a huge chunk of someone’s bracket. Hell, i don’t know how I’m in third with my champion gone too.

Well, with the Elite Eight done. I am currently in the lead with 690 points.
And GreyFMDan has the best chance of winning with a 60.9% chance to my 39.1% chance although I have the most max points.

So it basically all comes down to the outcomes of UConn & Purdue.
I assume they’re giving me the greater chance to win because Purdue is facing such an ostensibly huge underdog. Though TBH, I might be more concerned about facing NC State than Alabama at this point.

After the Final Four, it will all come down to the finals as I have UConn and GreyFMDan has Purdue
