These are two bonafide superstars that we should be excited about fighting at Wrestlemania, but I am getting Edge vs AJ Styles from prior Wrestlemania. This is a textbook example of a match that NEEDS a stipulation. I can already imagine what a normal match between these guys would look like, heck, that sounds like something they should have already booked on Smackdown in the past if they haven't.
Anyways, if you changed this into a No Holds Barred match or a Hardcore match, whatever you want to call it. Suddenly, I'm interested. Even a Tables match and I'd be way more excited than just a normal match. Make the match more of a brawl like you did with Kevin Owens / Stone Cold Steve Austin. Both guys hit their finishers a few times, the match pours out into the crowd. The guys just beat the shit out of each other for 30 minutes and then LA Knight goes over at the end.
My assumption is the goal of this will be to give LA Knight the rub. So I guess I could see that as a reason AJ Styles wouldn't want to participate in a match like this, but I feel like this match could use a little juice otherwise it could be forgettable. Or heck, why can't they do this in a Steel Cage even? Nobody needs to climb over the top or anything like that. Just gives them a little more window dressing to work with.
In theory, this could be LA Knight's first "Wrestlemania moment" if they do it right.

Really I can't see anything in the world that will make this match at all interesting, because Knight's slumming it on filler when they should finally be getting to a damn point with him and Styles is basically completely washed as a performer.

A street fight perhaps. AJ can really deliver in No DQ stops.
This feud is a bit tepid, despite them working hard though.

I don't think it needs much of a stipulation. At this point the big thing against Knight is that he's average in ring. It really just needs to be a solid match where Knight performs well and shows he's capable of more. While AJ appears to be on the downwards slope of his career hopefully he can bring a good performance out of him and make Knight look great.

I’d also be interested in 6-man tag gimmick matches between Final Testament and Lashley/Profits, as well as LDF vs. Rey/Carlito/Lee
