I found out that Scott Steiner actually turned heel and won the TV from Ricky Steamboat in WCW before he and his brother left for WWF. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable in wrestling history and somehow I didn't remember this at all.

Never heard this before and I've been watching since before there was a WCW.

Never heard this before and I've been watching since before there was a WCW. In the match Steamboat would do stuff like hold the ropes open for Scott and check on Scott when he flew out of the ring. When the roles were reversed, instead of checking on Ricky or holding the ropes he just rolled Steamboat up. Apparently he had turned on Marcus Alexander Bagwell too according to the TikTok video I saw.

Mike Enos wasn't just a random WCW jobber.

Yep, it aired on 17th October '92 WorldWide, he did defend it on the 17th October '92 Saturday Night against Steve Austin in which TV time ran out, they could have easily said that he lost it to Steve Austin but I believe they stated it was a time-limit draw.

Steamboat didn’t know him and didn’t know what he was capble of. How could he know he was looking at the next heavyweight championship of the world?

So he turned heel and then wrestled a heel? Were they already having cold feed by the time he left for WWF?
