So, uh, there's no way Cody and Rock have been secretly in cahoots, right? Because slapping each other in the face is one thing, but that is a whole 'nother... The Raw after Mania, Rock and Cody come out with Mother Rhodes and reveal their notorious plan Rock slaps Mama Rhodes on the arse and mouths "tapped that" to the camera behind Cody's back

I was there live for this episode, and god, this beat down ruled. Best part (which was censored for TV) was Rock getting in his one PG-13 allowed f bomb in when he screamed at Cody toward the end that this is what happens when he f***s with the Final Boss. The entire arena reacted at the edge, the sheer edge.

I’m not sure how it’s gonna work out, but I’m pretty sure Roman being outshined is the point. Roman goes babyface and is the one to beat heel Rock next year. WWE is having their cake and eating it too. Again, we’ll see how it works out, but I don’t think this is just Rock big leaguing everybody. As I said in the other thread like this, even if it's on purpose it's still f***ing stupid, that the last leg of the journey of your "Final Boss" title reign he looks completely like crap... because it makes your roster look like crap because he was lording over your entire roster for like 3 years.

So Rock is the final boss. It's like an RPG where you spent the entire game pursuing a villain (Reigns) only to find out there's an even bigger bad guy (Rock) who's basically a god and makes you fight in space. Sorry, I just finished Dragon Quest XI yesterday So I guess Rock kinda got what he wanted in the end Also, that is pretty much is every Persona game

Sorry, I just finished Dragon Quest XI yesterday Kind of makes you think the Rock is going to get himself into the Main Event of Night 2. Ever since Rock came back everything he's said means something. Kind of anticlimactic to beat the "Final Boss" on Night 1. I think they're going to lose Night 1 and then Night 2 he screws Rollins out of the belt and inserts himself into the Main Event to make it a Triple Threat. Whether or not Rocky costs Roman the belt or maybe Rock turns on Roman and he ends up pinning Roman Reigns to become Universal Champion. The Rock ends the title reign. Cody doesn't take the pinfall and you kickoff Rock vs Roman. That would get more people talking than "Cody wins for his dad". The Rock will be standing tall in some capacity at WrestleMania. That's what Endeavor wants. All the pieces are there or at the least they've given us a lot to chew on. Rock walks out of WrestleMania as the champion, now that would break the internet.

I dont watch the full shows, but I always check out his and cody's segments.

I love occasional blood in wrestling It doesn't need to be a weekly thing, of course, but can you imagine some of the most iconic moments in wrestling history (like Austin in the Sharpshooter at WM 13) without it?

Okay y'all can't put 'half naked' in the title and 1. not deliver in pics or it didn't happen and 2. not expect me to search this out to watch In fact you want me to watch AEW or TNA, put 'half naked' in the title. It won't work for NXT tho because I'll just assume that's a weekly thing anyway

If hell in a cell ever goes back to being a feud ender and not an obligatory ppv event then that's where blood should be too.

They got rid of the PPV and use it as a feud ender now (Edge-Balor had one at Mania last year).

I don't know if it's because the roster around him is on average smaller than it was in Rock's day but tonight and at that press conference a month or so ago is way more threatening than I ever recall him being during his full-time runs. He was always a big guy and would do beatdowns etc but even as a heel never really gave off this level of menacing, psychotic energy.

I love occasional blood in wrestling Even just fighting backstage felt like it hasn’t happened in ages. Especially between two of the of the biggest stars. Less is more. I loved it. Gave me Death of Superman vibes. This build is great.

Lol I mean, we're all posting on an online message board formally called "Wrestlecrap", regarding a hobby where grown men fake fight in their underwear that most people stop watching as they get older and has a negative social stigma related to it. I don't know who on here thinks they have the moral highground to laugh at anyone else on here for sharing their thoughts about a product we all love and joined here to discuss. I would implore anyone who feels the need to laugh at others when they are talking about something they enjoy to reevaluate the situation at and determine the moral relativism of the situation.

It’s amazing how he has transformed from ‘happy to be here’ phoning-it-in Rock, to this absolutely mega jacked insane final heel boss version of the Rock. Props to him for going all in on this and not going down the easy route he could have taken here (just doing the Roman match or noping out of the whole thing when it was clear the fans wanted Cody)

Eh, I guess you got a point 🤷♂️. I’m just loling at the visual of the Rock getting booed out of mania and the backlash it would cause, but it would get people talking. I think it would become a dark side of the ring episode lol
