Or maybe foreshadowing one or both of them being part of the posse that runs off the Bloodline on night 2? It'll be hilarious if they go overboard and have way more guys than needed to fight off all...5 of the Bloodline crew. Cody be calling like a couple dozen favors in just to be sure in case of any new Anoia family members that might pop out from under the ring.

Nah. It’s Mania 40. Rock keeps saying wrestling is cool again. Feels pretty appropriate for Austin to show up and kick his ass one more time while giving a stamp of approval to Cody. I’d say deliberate.

I’d say deliberate. This is a situation that feels like there's no middle ground. It's either going to be one of the greatest things ever or one of the worst things ever. A huge gang of faces fighting off the Bloodline and Cody beating Roman could reach Backlash 2000 levels of all-time babyface PPV endings. And Cody losing would arguably be the worst booking decision ever in wrestling. I'm trying to think of a scenario that just ends up run of the mill, like doesn't light the crowd on fire but doesn't really piss them off either. I'm not sure there is one.

I mean, I don't think they intended on this when they put Cena and Austin on the truck, but I imagine when they went out earlier in the day to figure out the logistics of the beatdown, someone got the light bulb in their head on.

An Austin and Rock staredown would probably get one of the biggest modern pops with the right crowd so they'd be stupid not to do it if it's actually doable.

Honestly I don’t think Rock is going to turn at Mania anymore, especially not after tonight. I feel like they have to do Cody vs the Rock first. I think Seth will be taken out during the WHC match, so Cody can have Jey, Cena, and Stone Cold to counteract Jimmy, Solo, and the Rock

But, I’d also take Sami, KO, Sheamus and even DM Hunk to all come out to sway the odds in a hilarious way like the Bloodline would.

Please no. They don't need Austin steamrolling the guys who will he carrying the company going forward and Lord knows I've never needed Cena.

Yeah. I don't think we would even see Stone Cold again after the match, he would just be there to deliver a stunner to the "Final Boss". Plus The Rock has basically embraced his role as an asshole authority figure. The new Mr McMahon, just without the sex pest allegations.
The thing about Bloodline Rules which hasn't been talked about yet (likely intentionally) is that its ANYTHING goes. So in theory, what is stopping everyone else outside of the Bloodline from showing up and beating up the Bloodline?

Austin returning (again) will likely deliver the necessary god tier pop, but I would mark out for a final swansong Goldust appearance alongside his brother if there was a way to work it.
That or R-Truth

The glass breaking and Austin running in to fight off The Rock would be one of the biggest pops of all time. If the intention is for massive chaos during the Night 2 main event, then I hope that is the plan.

They showed another shot with Trish in it, maybe she can kick Jimmy’s ass too?
