...Powerslam Productions... Oh man, I found that Powerslam Productions channel earlier this week when browsing YouTube for my project. Always nice seeing indie stuff being out there on YouTube. It's always good considering I check out shows for my entrance music database project. How about this. All the venues that Shotgun Saturday Night took place during the first six weeks during that shows tenure? Especially NYC’s Penn Station where the camera caught the big screens showing what is now Bloomberg TV. I am willing to bet that Bloomberg TV had no problem with them being shown on an unpopular wrestling show (especially one that was shown late at night) because realistically they could. That’s why channels like HSN when they sell Direct TV or Dish Netowkr, the salesman say that they can’t show a random channel like CNN. How about MGM studios where Disney had fireworks going off during the matches due to Disney tradition? I have totally forgotten about Shotgun's initial arenas. Those were unique. Shame I was 1 month of being borned by the time it started and being born in a different country.

The other and his now wife retired from wrestling.

The Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern art gallery. Saw a tag match with Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero, Satanico and Olympico.
Also my very first indy show was in the Watford Colosseum. It's a more regular venue in many respects but it's kinda wild that an early 2000s dark-ages-of-Britwres indy show that failed to deliver Gangrel but did have a pre-WWE Paul Burchill on the card was done in the same venue where they recorded the Sound Of Music and Lord Of The Rings soundtracks (apparently it's known for having amazing acoustics when it's not being used for typical gigs).

For a 5 or so year period in the early 2000s Ultimo and Rey were my favorite 2 wrestlers. That is the reason I wore an Ultimo Guerrero mask at shows for years.

Yea they stopped adding stuff to the YT channel a bit before it folded. Was a really fun fed while it was around. Monthly shows,10 bucks for a ticket and you got 2 to 3 hour shows. For close to 2 years they were working with WILDKAT Sports out of NOLA. So at that little theater I posted about you would see say Big Ramp Enterprises(faces) vs Heel tag team of Blake Wilder and Ricky Starks. I think the WILDKAT connection is why Stevie Richards worked the posted Powerslam show.

Here's another one I didn't go to but saw on TV:
Back in 2006, my parents got Direct TV. I was happy for a number of reasons, but one of them was that I could finally watch SmackDown! on a regular basis. My local cable provider didn't carry UPN, so I missed out on the SmackDown! 6. But, I got to see HLA, Katie Vick, and the Reign Of Terror. Anyway, when I first started watching SmackDown! back then, there was this one time that I tuned in a few minutes before the show and saw a local indy fed on the news. I don't know the name of the fed or where they operated out from, but it must have been somewhere near Little Rock, AR or Shreveport, LA since we got two affiliates for each network based out of those two cities. (I live in southwest Arkansas near Texas and Louisiana, and the Shreveport affiliate does the news and weather for the "Aka-La-Tex area.")
But, to get to the point, the local wrestling show was being held inside a Walmart. The ring was set up in the clothing section, and you could see people shopping around the show with other people watching the wrestling. As I watched it, all I could think was that, "There's a Jeff Foxworthy redneck joke in here somewhere."

A picnic pavilion in McKeesport, PA without a physical address. The men's restroom had to be used as the locker room. People used to jokingly refer to it as "The Megadome."
Here's what it looked like back in the day:

The parking lot of a Piggly Wiggly, in which a former ECW wrestler came very close to hitting me with his car because he was looking the wrong direction.

At a show for Hawaii's only current Wrestling Promotion (Unify Championship Entertainment, or UCE for short), they had a show near the Aloha Tower (majority of the place is used for Hawaii Pacific University). It did have a nice view of Sand Island, though.

A few years ago, we had booked a show with the expectation it'd be an outdoor show. However, weather wasn't cooperative so we had to scramble to find a way to hold the show anyway. At the venue, there was a little garage where we could set up the ring but the ceiling was too low to use the top rope and we basically used tarps for a makeshift "locker room". At least 10 years ago,and I will find the footage,Powerslam Productions rented out a big storage unit. Put their ring in it and was using it as their wrestling school. Which became them trying to do every 5 weeks a show there. It got shut down fast by the storage unit owner. Main event from the only show held there that got filmed. I didn't make this one. That looks nearly identical to the setup we had at the time. I still have nightmares thinking about that show for so many logistical reasons.

Good parking. Just wasn't allowed. Seems 2 shows happened there,a third was advertised and canceled. After that they were back to the community little theater, where I am sure they broke all kinds of laws by one time packing 107 people in that tiny room. Buddy reminded me of when Pro Wrestling EGO ran a show at some kind of summer camp. Pics from this event made WWE Dot Com. Because Ted Dibiase JR made a rare wresting in ring appearance after leaving WWE. Might go look for the footage later.

NXT under a tent at Download Festival in 2017.
I remember touching Andrade as he walked past, he is a very greasy man. Asuka also tripped over a cable during her entrance and almost fell into me. She then went on to bust Ruby Riott open during their match which then had to be stopped.

Right after Sandy, PWS had to relocate from the Rahway Rec Center to...the event hall at a senior center blocks away. It was tight and barely lit. Memorable tidbits...
- I met Kevin Steen/Owens. - Rene Dupree hitting on female fans. - New Jack scared the crap out of us, as he was hanging out in the darkened bathroom.

They had a show right in the middle of South Street yesterday. There was apparently a show under an I95 overpass scheduled on Friday.

There was randomly an event at my elementary school gym featuring a bunch of out of shape guys and one guy botching a bunch of spots. I was in my 20's at the time.
