Mania's next week, do I get back into watching WWE?

So, like, I'm just feeling like rambling and you all have to suffer through it.

I stopped watching wrestling regularly after the lockdown WrestleMania, full stop. I went from being locked in as deep as watching Powerrr when it aired to watching zero wrestling, I feel like for two years. Then Punk came out of retirement and I watched that episode. I watched an AEW PPV, I think the very one where Punk faced Darby. Then I only watched the Rumbles, including this year.

I find myself enjoying wrestling and talking about it again. A lot of the grossness that turned me away is still around, but far reduced from where it had been, namely the exit of Vince. So, what say you, general FAN population? Is this the right moment to start dipping in again?

Probably, yeah. This is the most positive I've seen the board about WWE since I've been here. Last couple weeks of Raw and SD have been really good, I just hope they keep it up after WM.

Personally I’m cutting cable because it’s expensive to have that as well as streaming apps, but imma continue to follow through Reddit highlights and PLEs

And just keep up with the weekly stuff the same way I do. Via this board and selecting the interesting bits from YouTube.

The big events tend to have great matches and the weekly shows have some good segments lately. NXT can straddle the line between goofy fun and bad, but it's more often the former.



At the very least Mania Night 1 has a consistent track record of excellence since they expanded to the two night format. Night two... not as much, but hopefully they actually stick the landing this year.

I told myself I wouldn't watch again til Roman lost the belt(s) and I'm trying to hold myself to it, sometimes I'm like "but it's the Rumble/Wrestlemania" and sometimes I think about how consistently bummed out WWE made me even after HHH took over creative. If WM41 is in MN I'll definitely watch the buildup if I can get tickets but idk if I want to commit to much (pretty much just catching NXT when my schedule allows) before that for my own sake.


So I guess I'd just say whatever feels right for getting back into it or not.

its gonna be so toxic and tense from the end of night 1 to the main event of night 2 because rock/roman are probably winning night 1

during that match they'll also for sure mention the next steps on the mountain roman has that nobody gives a shit about but we start thinking "surely wwe isn't that stupid right"

I highly recommend watching YouTube clips instead. You’ll see the important stuff without sitting through a lot of filler.

i still think there's a chance he shows up night one after rock/roman beat the two of them down instead of people waiting the whole day night 2 wondering if he'll show up too
