I can't think of the last time I heard about "aerial maneuvers" or "scientific wrestling".

I rarely hear anyone use the term Shine anymore.
Maybe a few of the vets that are in their late 40s or older.

JR on commentary in the 90s talking about when wrestlers "turned pro" is f***ing surreal

Outside of OSW, you never hear someone getting “Pearl Harboured” anymore.

I don't hear "Bizarro World" much anymore for crowds in places like Canada, probably because Vince is gone, and thank god.

When a wrestler gets beat up, a commentator sometimes would say something along the lines of: “There are getting an education.”
When a wrestler wins, a commentator (often Gorilla Monsoon) sometimes would say: “Let’s get the official word.” (Meaning let’s get the news of the winner from the ring announcer.

I like this one, and a lot of Gorilla's commentary focusing on officials and other staff. It gives it a real sports feel.

I hate Vince's dumb alien vocabulary as much as the next person, and in a lot of ways the overemphasis on buzzwords in WWE was the catalyst for the end of my fandom because it all became just too cringe for me.
That said, I really miss fat guy wrestlers being called "behemoths."

"Educated Feet" for someone who uses martial arts kicks.
Caveat : I haven't listened to Jim Ross in ages, so if he still does it, somebody make him stop.

When was the last time a wrestler’s moveset described as “catch-as-catch-can?”

A lot of these are terms that were mostly exclusive to a particular commentator like Gorilla Monsoon or Jim Ross. Im not sure how many were ever common terms outside of those guys’ respective commentary.

That said, I really miss fat guy wrestlers being called "behemoths." There was a stable in EGO where the big fat dude was known as "The Tribal behemoth". Such a great word that isn't used that much anymore.
