If you look at today's roster. Certain wrestlers that have the cardio for this and move set to go one hour.

Not really a fan of ironman matches. I'd almost always rather a regular 20-30 minute match with a single pinfall/submission at the end.

If I had to choose though then Gunther v Gable. Angle/Brock is one of the only iron-mans I liked and they feel like they could capture a similar dynamic.

The match consists of one chokeslam and then Omos pins him repeatedly for the rest of the 60 minutes

Final score is 2,768-1 (Omos accidentally low blows him on one pin attempt)

If they ever dig this awful idea out again they need to at least make it a multi person to add extra layers of drama for pin break ups and so forth
