You gotta think Miro’s days are numbered in AEW. Is he even in the country anymore? Apparently, Miro's injured right now, so unless he specifically requests it, I don't think he's leaving until at least he heals up.

I wonder if their new COO may have sat TK down and asked questions like "do we really need two ring announcers on Saturday? Pick the better one and use them all night" which makes sense from the capitalist perspective but I also have liked AEW being the promotion that helps keep as many jobs available as possible. And this isn't to say they'll be a skeleton crew. But it still sucks to see people lose their jobs.

Depends on what the situation is, might just have a ton of talent that also mutually want out. We already know some who keep voicing their displeasures Yeah, I truly hope so. It just always sucks for the talent and I feel for them no matter the company when they get released. If a lot of these are mutual departures it'll make it easier but we need to see.

Look we like Stu and Dasha but they just couldn't cut the mustard.

Even though the Khans are wealthy enough to keep everyone employed forever they probably have to give the appearance of operating under a budget otherwise they could get lowballed for a new tv deal if the networks think they would burn money just to stay on tv so they have to trim the budget after a big and very expensive signing spree.
It’s also possible TK has changed his philosophy, he’s been advised/ordered to cut spending by his father or this is a mutual thing with talents who want to go elsewhere.

on Wednesday AEW starts saying that Brody King and Danhausen were a tag team and that Aaron Solo was always the 3rd member of The House of Black.

It honestly feels like mass releases were inevitable. Look at how many talents they hired from 2020 onward, and how many people have actually left the company? A quick check of Wikipedia shows 44 people over five years, which is a drop in the hat compared to most companies. With how large their roster is, it was just a matter of time. Doesn't suck any less, though.

The closest we've come is when they cut Jimmy Havoc, Shanna, CIMA and Bea Priestley around the same time. Hell, they hired MORE people during Covid than they've ever cut PERIOD.

Mixed feelings on this, it does feel very WWE the whole mass releases thing if that's what this becomes, and those have always sucked. Equally the roster does need trimming, there's some guys and girls who are just going to do nothing with the amount of talent they have ahead of them. They went from having a small roster, to a loaded roster to now arguably the best and one of the biggest ever, so letting some people go feels like a necessity. There's also some people I imagine they'd actively want to shitcan if they've alluded to wanting to be elsewhere.. With Stu he just wasn't being used at all so you get it, best for all parties if he can continue his career elsewhere, but Dasha is an odd second name to emerge given she was being used.

And seeing as how that’s is already the conspiracy out there in the toxic wastelands…it’s not a giant leap in logic to get there IMO. I give Tony more credit than that…but I also have so idea who this dude is 🤷🏼♂️

Surprised and disappointed with Dasha being released. I liked her as Collision ring announcer and she did a lot with AEW Heels too IIRC.
Stu I'm sadly not surprised about.

Stu's not surprising. Outside of that first month back and short stint in ROH, has he even appeared in either show since then? Dark Order as a whole has been wasted.

Weird to think now how along ago Smash Bros wear tearing up PWG with tons of other AEW and WWE names, like they were part of that insane Threemendous III ladder match. Always better than their usage would suggest to people. They had amazing and funny matches just all the time.
