Kind of wild seeing "We'll know why soon" like there's some vague secret meaning to what's clearly just "Tony's not booking these guys". Also kind of surprising this wasn't just the concession of "Fine if you want out go" to guys who are headaches, but alright. Ibou clarified that he was basically clarifying he was responding to people saying the Punk loyalists were getting released

When Stu left AEW, it was to forge his own way, and when he came back, it sounded like something was actually coming of that and Tony realized what a dumbass he was. Then they ran the non-storyline of The Righteous just taking Stu away that mostly played out on ROH which honestly sucks given that Dark Order are an AEW stable and a staple whose story deserves AEW air time because they've never meaningfully had one. Seeing him gone again realyl just blows; Tony had two shots to see what he had with a really great tag team and showed no interest either time in it. Jora Johl though holy shit he was still there in the first place? Most of this board would probably have no clue who he even is, that man was the AEW Dark of AEW Dark regulars.True AEW Dark fans remember the AEW Dark storyline of Big Money Matt trying to corrupt Jora with money and Jora (despite turning heel gradually and joining the HFO) saying Matt was a prick but he didn't say it in English so it was only conveyed via subtitles.

The Workhorsemen were supposed to be part of the Tag Title tournament before Henry's injury. And they seemed to be getting used more frequently on Collision, too. The Boys is just sad, as stated, Dalton's never gonna find them now. His act isn't the same without them. I'm surprised that Gravity was even signed, I assumed he was part of a talent exchange. I didn't realize Jora Johl and Slim J were still with the company. Parker is one that doesn't shock me, because they pivoted with him and Trench so fast. Jose is a bit of a shock, but not too surprising.
I hate to speculate, but I won't be surprised if Ryan Nemeth ends up on this list. Earlier today, I saw an article about him, where he said he couldn't talk about why he hasn't been around, but that he's grateful to AEW for giving him an opportunity.
Also, is Daivari the only Trust Buster left?

I think Gravity is the only guy on that list that I didn't realize was actually employed. Like, I genuinely thought he was per appearance, and that's why he hadn't been back since the PAC match.

Gravity had completed his storyline. I don't know if he ever appeared again after the PAC match, but neither of them should have. Storybook ending. He's worked in ROH but his last AEW match was the tag against House of Black where he botched nearly everything he did. He might get better but he was very green.

Grayson apparently refused to show up to do a Dark Order segment in Quebec because he had dinner plans, seems pretty expendable.
Johl, Gravity, Parker, Slim J are all guys not doing much.
Anthony Henry was probably on a PPA and will be back when healed up.
Sucks about Jose, he ruled.

I wonder if Dustin will be one. You look at the timing. The Cody storyline. And Dustin has pretty done all he could to help AEW over the years. So I wonder Dustin would ask for one and well, the rest is history on Sunday.

I have heard that the Saturday Collision tapings made life hard for some talent because they had to essentially be ready to go if needed which would then impact their other bookings (which tend to be on weekends). And even in the most ideal world where TK plans everything weeks in advance, there are going to be times where someone has to come to TV on short notice so those issues were inevitable. I wonder if that is what PWInsider meant when sources said this could help some talent. Going to pay per appearance deals could help talent get more flexibility in their scheduling even if they reduce lose the weekly paycheck in the process. Obviously doesn't apply to people like Jose and Dasha though.

How will anything function without gravity? This company employs Fenix, PAC and Dante Martin, they were saying "f*** you" to gravity for years.

There's some names that kinda make sense, but then others that they utterly wasted, others that are just baffling. And it should be emphasised that releasing talent while they're injured is always a dick move.
