well shit. i've wanted them to do this for ages and i'm sure it won't even have anything to do with punk, it'll be about FTR but that's a gulper if i've ever seen one.
you know in cartoons when someone tugs on their collar? me rn
- AEW WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR MATCH: Samoa Joe vs Dustin Rhodes
Weird time for that match. Hope they say 'If Dustin wins he gets first title shot against champ after Dynasty' and not 'if he wins it will be a triple threat at Dynasty'. Because the lattee the has zero chance of happening. At least the former there is like maybe 1% chance

Not weird in the sense that Dustin is/will be VERY over in Charleston...his Dad used to run the town (hell, the same venue technically - it was massively remodeled a few years ago) regularly with NWA/Jim Crockett Promotions. Plus by the time this happens his brother will likely have finished "the story" sooooo....
Dynasty approaches, and AEW's on the fast track to a crazy PPV with another week of chaos! What's on tap this week?
Dynamite:
- TNT CHAMPIONSHIP: Adam Copeland vs Penta El Zero Miedo
- AEW WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR MATCH: Samoa Joe vs Dustin Rhodes
- THE YOUNG BUCKS WILL HAVE BACKSTAGE FOOTAGE OF ALL IN AND DISCUSS IT FOR THE FIRST TIME!
All I need to be happy (since i'm finally getting to see Adam Copeland live after 25 or so years of being fan).... *An Ospreay match
*Okada (perhaps starting whatever angle will carry to the PPV...)
It wasnt until last night that it occurred to me, with all these people within reasonable travel distance to this show because of being in Philly for all the non-Mania Festivities this weekend, that there is one person who logistically/theoretically could be brought in for Dynamite or Rampage that I never thought I'd get to see in person....i'm trying to keep myself from thinking "oh he'll be on the show!" so i'm not disappointed....but still....
Not too convinced by that Dynamite card, Cope vs Penta should be good and I always love watching Mariah but the rest doesn't look too special. Sheer morbid curiosity about the Bucks segment has me looking forward to it, just think it would have been better to surround that with a better card. This time last year had a bit of an underwhelming card on paper if I recall but obviously they announced All In, debuted Jay White and FTR won the tag titles which confirmed they weren't jumping ship so that really made up for it.

My cable company is listing a new Battle of the Belts on 4/13 directly after Collision. But it also doesn't have any information about this new Battle of the Belts so it's just re-using the description for the first Battle of the Belts and advertising Britt Baker vs. Riho and CODY RHODES DEFENDING HIS CHAMPIONSHIP! For some reason I don't think Cody is showing up in AEW on Saturday to defend his current championship, but if Tony Khan actually managed to pull that off it'll only make the "Who's the Worst Businessman" thread even more one-sided.
