Remember the ring carts from 3 and 6? They should totally bring those back for 40. Because, every year it seems the entrance way gets longer and longer.
Maybe if they had those last year maybe Shane-O wouldn't have been so gassed by the time he reached the ring.

They don't need them because they have stages and ramps leading to the ring. Their only useful purpose at WrestleManias III and VI was because the entire entrance was flat, so they needed to be elevated so all the fans could see them walk to the ring.

Would help prevent Rocky from blowing up before the bell. Might get a full 15 seconds out of him

Just to clarify if they use carts. Is Charles Robinson still allowed to run to the ring if he needs to be the backup referee?

I get the point of the carts but I can't stand them haha.
Mind you, the visual of Andre and Heenan heading to the back in defeat whilst Hogan celebrated is brilliant.

40 doesn't even seem to have all that long of a ramp.

I think Bruce Pritchard said they were modified fork-lift trucks and only used them because the arena had the trucks.
There was no thought beyond, "Ooh, let's give this a go. Might help Andre"

What if they get a moving walkway like in the airports? This will also help prevent run-in since the wrestlers would have to run against the motion.

didn't they use something like this recently for the bigger guys (but kept them off camera)?

My memory of the carts is Andre “waving” at the crowd after he lost, but apparently it was to stop the rubbish been thrown at him and heenan. I’ve always found that story funny. I remember warrior running to the ring at 6 in Toronto, and Ventura asking why he was running before the biggest match of his career. I remember the camera trying to find him once his music played

I wasn't watching at the time but seeing them retrospectively I think they are goofy as balls and baffled that they were taken seriously
So yes please bring them back it'd be funny

Might help Andre" Yeah, part of it was they had them and secondly and Andre could not walk that far unassisted and they didn't want him to look obviously impaired before his big main event.
