7 which is honestly a bit disappointing because 37/38/39 all had night 1s that were 9 or 10 for me.
Loved Gunther/Sami, the ladder match, Becky/Rhea and the main event. The midcard matches were fine. The Uso match is the big negative. Not only was it not much of a match but I actually think now that it could have been better for Jimmy to win and let Saturday be all Bloodline standing tall. Jey could get revenge by taking out Jimmy in the main tomorrow then winning a gimmick match at Backlash.
Rock was better than I expected. I guess he's been working on his cardio the last 2 months in preparation. A singles match next year though with him being another year older is another question.
Did Austin ever get pinned by the People's Elbow in any of their matches over the years? I know Mania 19 it was 3 Rock Bottoms. Cody now joins the ranks of Hogan (Mania X8), HHH (Backlash 2000) and Punk (Rumble '13) in going down to the elbow in big time matches.

I gave a 5.
I fell asleep during the main event, which seems to be an actual advantage cause I shook out of it in time for the ending.
Gunther/Zayn was nice, even if the story told was a bit wonky. Happy for the big "moment" of Sami not failing in front of his family (again).
Becky/Rhea was fine. Understandable so if Becky was sick cause it felt kind of slow, but I know my pace when I'm sick so...good for her. Nice for Rhea to get her big "This is her" defining win to make her the insurmountable mountain of her division.
Tag matches were all blah. Ladder match was okay-ish. Happy for Truth.
I think the Usos match was anti-hype.
I figure it was all a decent build for the big ending tomorrow, so I hold on to hope till then.
I barely remember anything else on the show because nothing really stuck out.

I feel they worked out the two night format finally. Tonight wasn't spectacular but it was good and it all built for tomorrow. Tonight didn’t blow my socks off like I was hoping it would, but I agree. I think they should always have Night 1 build for something Night 2 without feeling lesser then. I remember watching Wrestlemania 38 night one and thinking how there was no way Night Two was going to come close to matching it and really not looking forward to it. Today wasn’t a five star show, but it has me interested for tomorrow, so in that way it was a success.

I didn’t watch live because I was at a baseball game, but I just finished catching up.
I’d go 6. Like, I don’t know, I’m still not a fan of the 2-night Manias. The main event’s ending was cool and the show closed on an awesome visual but it was mostly a slog to get there. And it damn sure didn’t feel like a WrestleMania.

7/10.
A lot of things just felt placeholder for the bigger stuff on Sunday.
Brothers match was definitely a little disappointing. Tag match was nice though to split the titles.

It's so wild seeing this. I could not have imagined this Mania with all this build, to not deliver.
We still have tomorrow. Hope they right the ship.

5, and that’s mostly raised up due to the main event.
Gunther/Sami and Jimmy/Jey both felt like they had the potential to be great, but were just rushed. Everything else felt like it could have been on any throwaway PPV. Not good, not bad, just “fine.”
That main event was WWE doing what WWE does best though, pretty much flawless.

A low 6 that's really like a high 5.
As soon as the show started with a giant AR book that looked like shit when Becky walked through it, I kind of knew this show was in trouble.
Everybody felt slightly off. Everything felt off. And the main event was too long. It was 20 minutes just for the intros alone.
WWE is supposedly so hot right now, but you couldn't tell if this show was anything to go by.
And based on looking at the cards, going into tonight I was much more hyped for this show than I am going into tomorrow's event.
Wrestling Jesus, please take the wheel.

I feel like the quality of night 2 is going to depend a lot on 1), Bayley / IYO way overdelivering compared to what the build's been like (and really I struggle to, like, ever think of a great main roster Bayley match so I'm not super hopeful on that one), 2), the street fight just going for it on being a crazy dumb spotfest, and 3), Cody winning after the Backlash 2000 sequel we're all wanting. You can count on the triple threat to be good but nothing stellar, Seth / Drew's looking more and more like a squash, and Knight / Styles is probably going to suck so those three are doing the heavy lifting on this show.

Tough crowd, I thought that was a blast. And the main event I thought was top tier work. I was going to ask if that will be the Rock’s highest rated match of his career, as I had it around 4.5 stars.

5... was alright.
I don't think I'll revisit anything from this Mania in the future (maybe the Opener and Sami/Gunther)
The Tag Ladder match was good, and honestly kinda hoped it would end with Awesome Truth and DIY deciding to split the belts... probably would have been one of my favorite endings to a ladder match in a long time and it makes logical senses that two face teams would split them that way. Waller and Theory winning one set brings the match down for me... but Awesome Truth getting the other (after the long and confusing R-truth Ladder match saga) was cool.
I found the Main event to be... boring and way too long.
The Women's tag was a thing that happened... it felt like it just started and they were already wrapping up... might have been a combination of Asuka's knee not being 100% and Jade still being super green.
Uso vs. Uso was also a match... the best thing about it was the Yeet vs. NO chant during the yay/boo punch segment.
Hopefully this year breaks the streak of the First night being miles better than the second night of Mania... or Yikes.

First event I have watched for about 8 years. I'll give it a 7
Becky vs Rhea - 8/10 - Enjoyed this a lot, solid match Ladder Match - 8/10 - A very fun match, although I lost interest a bit when two guys I never heard of took the Smackdown belts Zayn vs Gunther - 7/10 - It was good, but I think I would have liked it more if I was more familiar with the wrestlers or cared about Zayn Six Women Tag Match - 6/10 - It was ok--I liked the entrances and the costumes more than the match to be honest. Main Event - 7/10 - It was good, but had some slow boring parts in the middle when Reigns was doing his offence and dominating. But I enjoyed it. Rey and someone vs Dom and someone - 4/10 - Boring Jey vs Jannety Uso - 2/10 - Crap
The commentary hindered the show, Cole is a good commentator but the loud shouty guy was f***ing attrocious. And the crowd was absolutel pish.

I will Add Macafee and Graves were god damned insufferable at some points tonight especially during the main event.
Demanding that Cole do the Roman Reign sign, and that he's responsible for 90% of his salary... having two heel commentators is massively unnecessary especially when Cole still is pretty damned wishy washy with Roman talking about he wins even if he cheats.

Definitely not as great as Night 1s have been in the past, but it was overall enjoyable.
I missed Rhea/Becky, so no comment. I'll check it out later.
Ladder match was alright, first win happened way too soon, but there were a few moments that made it fun. Felt too choreographed, but that's a modern beef I have in general.
The LWO match had that crazy dive to the outside that got so much distance! It was fine. Rey had cool gear and I was glad to see him win again. I thought the football dude that pulled off his mask was Rick Steiner helping out an old WCW friend.
Uso vs Uso reminded me of Goldust vs Stardust in that it was this long-awaited 'what if?' brother vs brother match that never got out of first gear. That awful rap at the beginning, the stalling, the indyriffic super kick spam, face Uso falling for heel Uso's obvious fake apology, the lame ending...this match sucked yeety teetys when it was one of the matches I had high hopes for.
Gunther/Sami surprised me in that I thought Sami was being setup to lose. This match was intense, and those powerbombs made my Dad and I wince when he snapped Sami down like that. Outcome was a nice moment, as was the pre-match stuff with his child. Sami keep having these awesome Wrestlemania matches, and they are all SO different from one another. Hopefully this allows Gunther to move onto main event status as the year rolls on. He's got less than 5 months from the Germany show; I'm excited to see where that goes.
Women's tag was fine, but this stuff feels more like a fashion show than a wrestling one sometimes. The mist spot was fun. Jade looks great but moves around with the fluidity of a robot. Bianca is a total natural at this.
Main event was awesome. Expert storytelling in this one. Rock balancing being funny with being a cruel dickweed is what made so many people take note of him back in the day in the first place. That little brawl on the outside reminded me a bit of KO/Austin. Wasn't sure who was gonna win this one, which is always fun going into a match. Happy to see Rock get the pin on Cody, it's good to establish the 'final boss' thing this way so you can pay it off later. Seth's attire was great, Rock looked great, Roman was in top form, and Cody looks like he belongs with all those guys.
Funnily enough, the Prime logo in the center wasn't distracting at all (but funny when seeing Cody kiss it). It was all the excessive other ads. Having that stuff on the aprons and in pop-up boxes was a lot.

Women's tag was fine, but this stuff feels more like a fashion show than a wrestling one sometimes. I agree. I enjoyed the cool entrances and the flashy ring attires more than I did the match itself. The match itself was ok. The ring attires and entrances were tip-top.

I rated it a 7. I loved Rhea/Becky, didn't mind Uso vs Uso, loved Sami/Gunther and was at the edge of my seat for the main event.
The main event stole the show and they had me multiple times with the false finishes.
Was rooting for Cody and Seth, but this result just gives me more hope of Cody winning tomorrow.
The rest of the matches I kinda zoned out during, but I found nothing on this night to be particularly bad.

They were show spoilers for me. Absolute garbage. Loud, obnoxious and annoying--and not in a good heel way. In a "I wish I could mute them and just have Cole doing the play by play instead)
