I'm feeling like a 5 that would've been a 7 if it were a different PPV. It was a decent watch but Gunther losing and parts of the main event were the only things that at all felt special really.
That said the ending convinced me that Cody's got this. You don't go that hard on shot-for-shot recreating last year to have him choke again.

7/10
Becky/Rhea, The Tag Team Ladder and the 6 Women Tag match were good.
Gunther/Sami was MOTN which is not a huge shocker.
The Uso match was meh but I didn't think was as bad as others felt.
The Main event was fine for what it was.
Not terrible but there have been better Mania Night 1's.

Felt like a high 8 to me. I needed to take a little break during the Usos match though.

hate to say it but a 4. any regular ppv it would be a 7/7.5 but as a mania it gets a 4.
very little of it felt like a wrestlemania show except for sami winning and the last 15 minutes of the main event
EDIT: actually lets move it up to a 5 cause my boy Waller got a title

I went a 5. Could have been higher but like that main event really dragged things down for me. Between The Rock not trying to blow himself up and Cody, Roman, and Seth not trying to get injured before their *REAL* Mania matches, that was such a boring slog of a match. Just everyone kinda gingerly pacing themselves from spot to spot. Please never again have people wrestle across the two nights of Mania if this is how they are going to work Night 1.

Rhea/Becky, the ladder match (other than Theory winning), and Gunther/Sami were all good-to-very-good. Everything else was varying levels of dull. 4/10

Ima go 7.
I enjoyed most of the matches, but Sami shouldnt have won and the Uso match didn't click with me.

Went 5. Pretty awful for the most part and the crowd came across as lifeless bar popping huge for Truth. The main event (eventually) saved it a bit.
Huge props to the Rock. Did a lot more than most of us thought and his body held up.

6/10, I liked Sami/Gunther, the Tag Team ladder match and the main event but that's it.

From what I saw, a 5. No classic matches and the Hogan/Rock of the evening did not get its Hogan/Rock crowd.
Also, I have to say this: Sami Zayn's watered down post-injury post-heel jobber run moveset and ring style is plain bad to watch. I don't know if Gunther/Zayn would have been a better match in another promotion or if Zayn just can't go like that anymore flat out, but there's no world where I'm a guy that's watched Zayn vs Cesaro and I've watched Gunther vs just about anyone and I praise that as a great match. It was a perfectly fine, probably good match. It was also not notably better than if you'd slotted Kofi Kingston or another completely adequate 7/10 worker the same Zayn role.

5. Consider that a 10 for Gunther/Sami and nearly everything else dragging it down.
Main event dragged so much that the entire Discord call started zoning out and talking about other stuff, and then just a muted 'oh, it's over, night everyone?'. If it wasn't for the call I'd have tapped out long before that point.
I think the Usos match was on the level of Jay White/Daddy Ass in terms of the worst stuff I've seen this year, but as the culmination of a blood feud between brothers at Wrestlemania rather than a random match on an episode of Dynamite? Terrible.

7. Pacing was awful as usual. Missed most of the Becky match, gotta watch that later. Ladder match, 6 woman were good, USOs was there, Gunther/Sami was pretty good but the heat spot went on too long and I honestly enjoyed the main event for what it was. And it was exactly what I was expecting.

Becky/Rhea, The Tag Team Ladder, and Sami VS Gunther ruled.
Usos match was very mid, but nothing offensive.
Main Event was a total slog but then was awesome once it got going.
Overall I don't think there was anything tonight that legit made me mad but there was not many that made me jump out of my seat either. 7/10

I know we will probably never go back to a single day mania but man this card could easily have been condensed down to a single evening. Filling out manias with really mediocre stuff really makes it a grind to watch.

It was cool. 4/7 matches I thought were great, the others were just "alright."
7/10.

This is probably when Night 1 ends its streak of "Better Night" wins
Unless Night 2 just really... REALLY tanks...
