Dude went out there, with a wrecked knee and shot back, to take a beating for Cody. He wasn't bitched out.

i think it comes down to this.
if you're thinking in the way all wwe storylines have been the last few decades yes, he f***ed up big time and got "owned" out there.
if you're looking at this story as a whole and giving them the benefit of the doubt that we're not used to giving wwe, him getting blasted like that, him being cody's "shield", how much he had put on the line for months now including last night, he is the most important person in the whole story besides cody.
i loved it. i would not change a thing about how all of that happened, including adding austin.

I don't think anyone really got bitched out this weekend and those most at risk avoided it.
Jey Uso - beat his cousin who is 4th in The Bloodline pecking order and not respected by anyone in that group. Drew - beat Seth and got his moment in front of fans, lost the title due to his own hubris and hypocrisy. Priest - Cashed in and won. Cody - when the chips were down, he was clutch.

Jey also got his moment by neutralizing his brother in singles action and in the main event

Seth's worst weekend ever (in story, as a pro it has to be up there with his best) felt very intentional and designed to give him a legitimate gripe Vs Cody down the line. Which makes Seth's character slowly approaching Big Show and Kane levels of turns.

I'd be curious to see how it plays on on TV that Rollins decide to pack on a couple of hundred pounds and start wearing a gimp mask. "I am not just like the Big Show and Kane. I have become them."

As an aside, did anyone else think for like a split second that somehow Mox was going to be there when that Shield music hit? I know there was no chance but with all of the stuff happening I was like "wait..." Yes. The fact he didn't ruined the moment. I think The Shield music hitting was the part where the match jumped the shark too.

Big Show turned 6 times in his first two years and that included about 5 months out too. He's got a looooong way to go yet.
