It's going to take the right guy (not that other word, brother) and the right storyline. In my eyes, Roman and the Bloodline was both. We won't really know until it happens. I'm not sure that when Roman won it at Payback 2020 that he was going to hold it for 4 years. Roman became what the office thought he could be and the Bloodline story just kept evolving.

I don’t think you can do a reign over 2 years for another 20 - 30 years.
Roman was only able to do it through very unique circumstances that can’t and probably shouldn’t be repeated ever again.
It’s the greatest reign of all time and it should never be done again.

No chance. Roman's run started during the pandemic, and it took a perfect storm (plus a questionable booking decision at WM 39 that ended up working out in the end) for him to get this far. I doubt anyone gets to half of Roman's run in our lifetime.

My instinct is no.
However who knows with TKO, it'll be a very different company in 5 years as it diverges further from Vince's vision.
If they get a Austin or Rock level star maybe they will keep the title on them until there is someone better. Especially if Roman and Cody becomes the blueprint they keep returning to whenever there's a little slump.

Never say never, but it's unlikely to be anything they'd need or want to do for many years.
Besides, Bruno still has the record. A year-plus is impressive, sure, but it isn't unprecedented or special.

It's entirely possible. Triple H has proven that he is a fan of long-term championship reigns, and if he can find the right talent at the right time at the right age, he could be enamored enough to give them a 4+ year run.

They just saw what it did for business even with Vince booking nonsense around it for most of it. It is a well they will return to when the right guy falls in their laps.
