You are more likely to get the all Joshi triple threat than a Dmg Cntrl 4 way. What about a Gallus triple threat?

She should've beat Charlotte. I could make an argument for her beating Bianca too, but the build up made it pretty obvious she was just a filler challenger rather than them attempting to reestablish her as a dominant force. The battle royal who cares & the tag title they could've won, but it was the opening match for the pandemic WrestleMania & the Kabuki Warriors already had a long reign coming in.
This year's match & the one with Rhea were the correct decisions & I don't think you can make an argument for her winning those matches.

Imo, the Only one that really did her dirty was losing to Charlotte.

Imo, the Only one that really did her dirty was losing to Charlotte. The weird thing here is that this didn’t lead to yet another big run for Flair. By the end of the week, it was Carmella that was champion from the Money In The Bank cash-in. And I still maintain that it was the matches with Carmella that hurt Asuka’s cred more than the Flair match did. Which leads me to ask, would it have been better if Asuka had won at WM but then took the cheap cash-in loss on the next SmackDown (because of the debuting IIconics, mind you, who she’d wiped the floor with many times in NXT) to end her long undefeated run? Probably not, but at least she’d have the banker WM win?

But also for the sake of legitimizing the first women's rumble, Asuka probably still should have beat charlotte. A fluke MITB loss allows to keep her unbeatable aura. But this is a reasonable rebuttal.

Feels worth noting the last time a Japanese wrestler won at Wrestlemania was Yoshi Tatsu winning the pre show battle royale at WM26.

It’d be nice for her to have a Wrestlemania moment before she’s through. She’s had a great run overall so it’s more of a cherry on top thing than a must have

That would work or a Damage CTRL fatal-4-way for the belt. That would be good too. That would be really great if each lady got to show off their skills in a singles match for each of them. Yeah we know that ain't happening. That would work or a Damage CTRL fatal-4-way for the belt. That would be good too. I seriously doubt there will be a Damage CTRL fatal four way for the title any time soon, if ever. Especially at Mania next year. Maybe not but if any of them will win the title again in the future it'll either be Dakota since she's the leader or it'll be Iyo as a face. Right now there's more money in Bayley/Dakota than Bayley/Iyo again.

All the more frustrating when you consider she was undefeated period going into her first mania with Charlotte. And as the first Royal Rumble winner no less. It was a booking open goal to have her beat Charlotte then face the - also at that point - undefeated Ronda Rousey at Summerslam.
Good match but I still can’t comprehend the reasoning behind Charlotte winning.

Probably not, but at least she’d have the banker WM win? The matches with Carmella (the cash-in itself taking ages plus their dud match at Payback) also hurt Charlotte's cred. Ironically, the only woman who benefited from it all was Becky, who didn't lose to Carmella in that run, and suddenly got winning streak booking on her way to the Summerslam title shot.

Is it sad that I can't remember most of the stuff booked under McMahon? Here's a shot. Wrestlemania 34 - I think she was a face winning the Rumble and face a heel Charlotte. Who ended her winning streak. Title match. Wrestlemania 35 - Battle royal, I think she was a face? Here is the field below to judge: Maria Kanellis, Candice LeRae, Nikki Cross, Naomi, Ember Moon, Lana, Kairi Sane, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, Dana Brooke, Mandy Rose, Mickie James, Sonya Deville, Asuka, Sarah Logan and Carmella. She was the biggest name in that match so that really was her's to win. Wrestlemania 36 - Heels as EVIL Kabuki Warriors. Tag Titles. Wrestlemania 38 - She was heel against Rhea Ripley. Title match. Wrestlemania 39 - She was heel against Bianca Belair. Title match. Wrestlemania 40 - She was a heel in Damage CTRL. Pretty sure Asuka was babyface against Rhea.
Easy to forget given the original match was meant to be Lacey/Charlotte, and then the Asuka/Rhea build was incredibly lazy.

This strikes me as one of the things Fans care way more about than the wrestlers themselves. Pretty sure tehre are long time members of the roster who would love to have 6 mania matches on their resume, especially as most of them were title matches or at least carrying the title. Pretty sure Asuka was babyface against Rhea. Easy to forget given the original match was meant to be Lacey/Charlotte, and then the Asuka/Rhea build was incredibly lazy.
Yeah, that was a bad reign... Asuka was a sidenote in her own title run. they spent so much time building up Lacey w/ Ric vs. Charlotte only like right before the match Lacey was likely to actually win the title she gets pregnant (again in Kayfabe with Ric's kid!) and while they try to recover Charlotte goes down with a knee injury a few weeks later... the fact that Asuka was champion for like half a year never really entered into it,

Wrestlemania 34 - Charlotte Flair Wrestlemania 35 - Women's Battle Royal Wrestlemania 36 - Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross Wrestlemania 37 - Injury Wrestlemania 38 - Rhea Ripley Wrestlemania 39 - Bianca Belair Wrestlemania 40 - Bianca Belair/Jade Cargill/Naomi All signs have to point towards her being due for a big win at Wrestlemania 41 right? One of the biggest female stars they have ever had just can't go down with a winless streak at the biggest show they have. Thoughts? A big part of me has given up hope of her getting a W at Mania but I would love to be proven wrong next year. Out of the list of matches she's had the only one I think she had any realistic chance of being booked to win where in 35 and 36. I love watching Asuka perform and would love her to win next year. My main concern right now is how long before she takes a step away from the Ring or moves on before retiring?

They actually brought it up at this year's WM. Not sure if that's the first time they've mentioned it. Maybe they'll turn it into a storyline. A storyline of an Asuka determined to not only get to Mania but to finally get that W? Could be an interesting storyline at least, and I'd trust Hunter to do a good job with it more than I would've with Vince. If indeed they went with this type of story arc for Asuka heading into Mania 41.

One can make an argument for the Flair match, but I think the worst loss was to Alexa and Nikki. I didn't see that one coming.
