Inspired by a comment in the “wrestlers with many finishers” or whatever the title was..
What do you guys think the best looking finisher is? If y’all wanna get really into it, I was sort of thinking “best looking” as not only the coolest looking but also what looks like it would be the most effective (I guess kayfabe wise as they all would generally be 0% effective in a fight, apart from subs).
For my money, it has to be the vertebreaker. It just looks absolutely nutty and of most of the wrestling moves I can think of, if you get hit with that you should probably die lmao. Such an incredible looking move.

I'd say any variation of the Diamond Cutter/RKO/etc. It looks flashy, has good impact, and can be reversed and modified really easily. It's like a swiss army knife of finishers in terms of how versatile it is.
Wait, no, what am I talking about. It's gotta be the Overdrive. [/thread over]

Ron Simmons' spinebuster. AA's is much more crisp and technical, but Ron Simmons' just LOOKS like it'd end you from the sheer violence and impact of it alone.

Ok.. weird quirk of mine or whatever you wanna call it.. I have a thing about moves where the offensive guy takes almost the same bump as the guy he’s giving it to. Much like Jarrett’s stroke. It seems like it would hurt them both equally. Not discounting your input though, we all like what we like. Just chiming in.

[/thread over] Cutter is noteworthy as, as far as I know, it was the first move to be hyped up as being able to be pulled off “out of nowhere” to use a tired phrase. I could be way off in that.

Jake's DDT. I love DDP's Diamond Cutter, but as a kid the DDT was god-tier with how good it looked.
And as years have went on, and it's become overused, it makes me appreciate the execution of Jake's (and also Raven's) even more.

A big powerbomb is a great exclamation point to a match.

I have a few I could name, like I was always fond of anyone using a Bossman Slam, for instance, but my gut reaction is probably "Kairi's elbow drop".

I will say out of all teh flatliner variations Corbin is throwing people back with the end of days.

When the timing is right, some tag team finishers look amazing. Power and Glory’s superplex/big splash springs to mind. Total Elimination is another.

2 Cold Scorpio’s Dropping The Bomb (moonsault into a legdrop). 2 Cold also had one of the best 450 splashes around. Also, the Tumbleweed. Hell, let’s just say any time 2 Cold Scorpio jumped off the top rope.

I'll go for an outside the box one: Test's big boot. That thing looked like sweet death like, 99% of the time.

A well executed (ha-ha, pun intended) Tombstone is always cool looking. Would be pretty devastating IRL also. Same with a Piledriver. And since Dibiase is Good brought up tag finishers, a Spike Piledriver.

I'm not sure it's ever been anyone's finisher but I remember for some reason I used to think the tilt-a-whirl slam (I think that's the official name) was the coolest looking move ever and simply because he used it Billy Gunn was one of my favorite wrestlers around 2001 even with his crappy "The One" gimmick.

So many that I could pick, but I'll pick one that might not get brought up - I always loved the Rude Awakening. The way he would just drop, I'm not sure how people didn't actually get hurt from it. Legit looked like it should've broken people's necks.
