Surprised there wasn’t already a thread on this:
The news actually broke over Wrestlemania weekend that Fatu had told people he had signed to WWE, and was somewhat bolstered when he was replaced for the Punjabi Prison match at GCW’s Collective despite being seen in Philly. Furthermore PCW Ultra, which is pretty much Fatu’s home promotion, has hinted that his match against Calvin Tankman tonight will be his farewell match.

Surprised there wasn’t already a thread on this: Not much gas left in the discussion now people can’t fantasy book Rhodes not winning at WrestleMania because of these guys. Have to actually try and think of where he fits on the card and not just as a “get out of jail free” card for Reigns. |

Feel really bad for Solo Sikoa. He's about to be given up on then abandoned once again. i think they might make him and Fatu a tag team, build Solo back up a bit but that does leave Jimmy with not much to do |

He’d be a hell of an upgrade from Tanga Loa as a tag partner. |

Was this dude locked into a super long-term contract with MLW? I was already hearing how good he was way back even before the pandemic so it's shocking that he stayed at such a relatively low level and wasn't snapped up by WWE/AEW/NJPW sooner.

I was already hearing how good he was way back even before the pandemic so it's shocking that he stayed at such a relatively low level and wasn't snapped up by WWE/AEW/NJPW sooner. He has had past issues with the law that apparently kept any big promotion from signing him. He did time due to a robbery incident when he was 18.
But he does credit seeing Jimmy and Jey wrestling on TV as the inspiration to change his life around.

At one time I wanted him to sign with AEW just for the sake of Vince’s head exploding. But in the current environment, he made the right choice.

According to an interview he did, he signed a five-year deal with MLW in 2019 or 2020 and a day later both WWE (through Regal) and AEW (through Jungle Boy*) called him to try and sign him. As for NJPW, he might not be able to enter Japan due to having a record. *Fatu and Jungle Boy are friends from working the California indie scene. |
