Tony has stated himself, he uses Brian as a booking consultant of sorts? I only casually watch, so can't speak one way or another. I have just noticed there are less storylines I personally care about, but for all I know, that could just be them dealing with the changing roster and injuries.

I've noticed way more reports on backstage aggression or incidents since Bryan was deferred to this position tbh, and that's why he was.

Honestly? I can't tell.
And I'm not saying that in a "nothing has changed quality-wise" sense. I mean, we don't actually know what Danielson is and isn't booking. We know there are a few different people in creative (Danielson, Sonjay Dutt, Jimmy Jacobs, etc), and that Tony Khan ultimately has the final call. So is Danielson the one responsible for the good stuff on the show? Or is Khan just bouncing back from a few bad booking ideas?

MJF's absence has felt a lot more substantial to the last few months than anything else. It's mostly just felt like AEW, in that I feel like I can cite previous examples and patterns for most of what's happening right now, both good and bad.
I suspect that the Shane Taylor Promotions push is partly on Danielson, though. I'm just getting the vibe that Danielson thinks Moriarty and Taylor are great and he wants to make them.

Feels very same style, but a little better, still worse than Elite-Era AEW IMO

The one thing that is clearly changing for the good is the women division since Pepperman arrived, more non title stories, and even let people like AZM cut a backstage promo in her first tv appearance.

I agree it's hard to tell. Apparently he played a big part in booking the continental classic and that was a high point. At the same time much of it has been rendered pointless since, Andrade beating Bryan was so dumb.
I suspect he's played a big part in Collision becoming a decent show but at the same time reports suggest he's always been involved so might have had some responsibility for it being shit to start with.

I think it's gotten a bit more focused. Still some pacing issues with angles but things are more coherent, and they're trying to make all 3 shows matter

Definitely less chaotic, at least.

I have no opinion on Shane Taylor Promotions, but I believe Danielson was also on the SD creative team back in 2020 when Drew Gulak was (kinda) getting a push.

This his how I found out Bryan has been advising Tony... I thought he's been heavily involved in Collision since Punk left but could be wrong

This his how I found out Bryan has been advising Tony... I thought he's been heavily involved in Collision since Punk left but could be wrong Reading between the lines he basically got Punk's role but Danielson just doesn't have the ego Punk does. Don't think he was really involved with creative till Punk left. The most consistent names TK seems to mention anymore with the creative process are Danielson, Jimmy Jacobs, Will Washington, The Bucks, and Sarah Stock. He will give credit to other wrestlers for being creative, but those 6 seem to be most involved with the entire show. I know Mox has also openly admitted Tony asks him to be more involved, but Mox prefers just working with specific talent and isn't comfortable having the creative role. I forget if it was Gabe Sapolsky or Cary Silkin that said it, but there's a famous quote from back when Danielson was ROH champion that if it was up to Danielson he'd lose every night
