As much as the crowd was waiting to pop for the glass shattering, after having some time to think about it, I prefer Taker showing up instead.
It made the most sense given his history with Roman, him being 'the conscience' of the WWE, and I think the idea of the Undertaker being the ghost of Wrestlemania that will haunt your ass if he needs to is funny.

I get a funny mental image of Undertaker just chilling in the stands, but just deciding to teleport while dressed in the most casual clothes possible to right a WrestleMania injustice in the ring.

I prefer Taker being the one to show up because I said he would all week with absolutely no reason behind it and that makes me feel like a fortune teller.

It's funny. The fact Austin didn't show up put a bit of a damper on the end of the match for me because I was so sure he was gonna make an appearance. On the other hand, Undertaker showing up probably got a way bigger pop since I wasn't expecting it whatsoever.

It would've been awesome, but I'm okay with how it went down. They can always do something with him later on if they get to Rock/Cody or whatever the plan is.

Austin's probably Rock's biggest rival so he made more sense than Taker, but it's not like Taker made none himself so I was fine with it.

But then you have Austin taking forever coming down the aisle, also after he hits the stunner he can’t just disappear like Taker could and take the spotlight off him. I dunno I would have given Austin anything he wanted.

Perhaps when they couldn't come to an agreement he told them "Sorry baby, that's for somebody else."

I dunno I would have given Austin anything he wanted. I mean, his least appearence had him come down in an ATV, that would have solved the issue. For me, I’d just have give the guy what he wanted. It’s the 40th WrestleMania and by the time, everyone would have gotten to the back, they would have made their money back and then some.

Bummer, but they should save it in their back pocket for Cody vs Rock down the line.

Taker was fine. But I was so looking forward to that pop and seeing Rock sell the Stunner one last time.

How the hell do you not come to a financial agreement with Stone Cold?? Like... what was he asking for??
Taker being there was fine but it really felt like Stone Cold and Rock staring down again would have been one of THE moments of the last 30 years... and it's a shame they couldn't seal the deal there.

I wanted Stone Cold to show up at first and have one last showdown with the Rock, but I feel like that would of overshadowed Cody a little bit

Austin makes everything about himself so it probably would have ended with him and Cody drinking a beer, so I'm glad it was Taker who knew his role and left.
