I think Tony Khan can be a goofball at times but he's ultimately a good guy who sticks up for his roster, so there's that at least. But f*** this thinly veiled transphobic nonsense all the same.

Justified Nyla cooking morons online.
She's might be the best pro wrestler on Twitter. She's hilarious and will destroy anyone and everyone when needed!

I get the "go there anyway and pay a fine" sentiment, but I'm vehemently against the idea of these "people" getting money. Even "f*** you" money.
Never run a show there again and remind viewers why.

Hope Nyla gets booked on Collision or the Dynasty Zero Hour. Let the fans show their love for her.

While I get the idea behind basically boycotting the state in response to this, I've always found that a bit unfair to fans who just happen to live there, especially when this is BS from an unelected position as was pointed out. It's one of my big bugaboos when people are like "this state is entirely bad and needs to be shunned from the world entirely" as folks frequently are when stupidity like this goes out, but that's another rant for another time.
What I'd rather see, would be if there are any sorts of events that they could run that *wouldn't* fall under the auspices of the athletic commission, like a fan festival or basically a non-wrestling event. You're still supporting the fans but it's still an appropriate middle finger to the state government if done properly.

Goddamn did I feel this.

I’m worried that this is gonna start a trend of like minded states enacting the same… In the words of Wade Barrett…. I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news.

Goddamn did I feel this. Ohioan with WV blood, now in NH. I've had entirely too many conversations with folks who seemingly expect me to publicly denounce my upbringing and/or Appalachian heritage. Or variations of "If you cared, you'd leave." I'm sorry, you can't expect us *all* to move to NYC, Seattle, or California, but I digress. It also reminds me of how folks were far quicker to dismiss the Charleston crowd outright the other week, as if there haven't been any other places where a handful of idiots have chanted stupid shit during Dynamite.

My thoughts here. I'm confident that Tony will stand by his talent but f***, he shouldn't have to for something this nonsensical. People got hate in their heart for no good reason.

Off the top of my head, Jamie Senegal (Daffney's daughter) and Edith Surreal (the former Still Life with Apricots and Pears) Kidd Bandit would be another that actually had wrestled in AEW repeatedly VENY is another trans wrestler who has wrestled for AEW, albeit for the Japanese tournament Hikaru Shida put together that brought Ryo over. She has teamed with Nyla before in Japanese shows and tweeted in support of her during this. She's basically one of the top freelance joshi wrestlers, anyway, so I'd certainly love to see her pop up in AEW stateside, regardless.

Ironically enough there are so many Californians, Texans, etc moving here now to buy up cheap land and stick a camper on it for their “off season” (they ain’t living there in the winter that’s for sure)….i know of 4 within 5 miles of my middle of nowhere ass house. To say nothing of the Scenery Tourists with money buying up prime real estate in the Eastern Mountains (Canaan Valley, Davis, Thomas, Timberline Mountian) to build seasonal, what I refer to as, “f*** You Money” Homes.

maybe i'm just being quick to judge but I wish that answer had gone a little differently. idk maybe i'm being too sensitive about it but I didn't really want to hear the usual great plans for the year and acting like it is surprising with how this country is going just reeks of living under a rock. i think TK is still a very good man. i don't know. probably not getting the context with it written or something.

Tony tends to go too politician when asked hard-hitting questions. I dunno if it's something he's instructed to do or he just doesn't want to ruffle any feathers but I do wish sometimes the Tony that released the CM Punk footage would come out more.

TK strikes me as the type of person who needs to make sure everything is 100% lined up before making a decision like "do not run shows in this state for the foreseeable future" or whatever. Him voicing total, unequivocal support for Nyla as a wrestler and human being is definitely a good sign though.
