Did one of these years ago. Back before Wrestling was on the rise again.
So what are you loving about modern wrestling.
1.How easy it is to see footage free or cheap hours/days after a show happens.
2.How vibrant my state's indie scene is.
3.How there is wrestling for anyone pretty much. You like comedy there is feds for that. Like deathmatches there is feds for that. Want old school stuff there is feds for that.
4.More and more indies are learning if they work together it helps everyoone.
So what are yall loving about modern wrestling. Keep it positive please.

1. I definitely like that it's easier to watch a show after it happens these days with the internet and stuff. 2. My son has recently started watching wrestling with me so I'm enjoying watching it with him, I don't know if that counts for the thread though.

The accessibility is easily the best thing. It used to be impossible, heavily delayed and/or prohibitly expensive to see most things. Now there's more wrestling available in the average week than anyone could ever hope to keep up with. Often live, usually cheap or free. Every fan should try Wrestle Universe, fite+ and iwtv.
That accessibility and the increased crossovers mean there usually an entry point to even smaller promotions and you can see many big names live at indies (and not just at the end of their careers). I would barely even be aware of their equivalents years ago, now I can see them fairly locally.
Those live options have grown too at all levels, just recently gained a tiny indy that runs in my hometown and have aew at Wembley. I was even lucky enough to attend shows in Japan thanks to the weak yen, it would have been completely unaffordable years ago (that's before the logistical challenges). That's also part of the reason for cheap streaming and stars and indies.

I love the new production style that WWE is doing with some of the continuous shots and production choices. Really cool looking and innovative. They're shooting it with a almost a sports/cinematic hybrid that feels familiar but also new and unique to them. It finally feels like an updated modern presentation of pro wrestling instead of Raw is War season 26.

1) More real options for talent to go make a living. 2) Drew Mcintyre 3) Satisfying and logical endings to stories and shows.

Women's wrestling. After 30-ish years of either skipping it entirely or finding it embarrassing to watch, I actually like women's wrestling now more than men's.

That's also part of the reason for cheap streaming and stars and indies. To show how much stuff has changed. When I started tape trading heavy in 97 and 98 few got Galavision. Which aired hours of CMLL & AAA each week. So I would record that and trade it for stuff I never saw like Portland or St Louis or Stampede. Now I can go on say IWTV and watch Limitless out of Maine for 10 a month. Or like with my local indie for free anyone with access to Youtube can watch mosst full BIW events fairly quickly after they happen. No more money orders for 25 bucks. And you get one 2 hour tape of Best of Sabu in the Indies.Or you are like Coach Tony K and don't ever send me that tape. After I sent him hours of lucha.Yea got time to make the sleaze thread but aint got time to mail mac13*@frogshitDOTcom his tape Coach Tony!
