this has to be a regular thing, not every week of course but this can't be a one off. that was some of the most fun wrestling i've seen on a weekly show in a hot minute

At first I was confused AF abotu the rules and I'm always a bit leery of any match type in AEW that's "Casino _____" as they've had some clunkily booked business, but then it ended up being a wacky exciting video game feeling match and it was so fun. Just like "OK it's Kyle vs. Ospreay now!!!!!"

That was a fun clusterf*** of a match. I'd like to see them run it back one day with even more participants getting to the ring.

A clusterf*** in the best way, even if it was a foregone conclusion the moment Ospreay entered.

Would've replaced Lethal with someone else, though. The roster's stacked like pancakes, there's no need for goldfish poop.

Anyway, annoying smark nitpick aside, I loved the match, it was loads and loads of fun. I hope they do this again, and also just straight up do Aztec Warfare at some point.

It was a mess but what a fun mess. So many great moments. Ospreay White staredown. Ospreay’s reaction to Lance Archer coming out, Kyle’s haircut! Great stuff. Ospreay winning was obvious when he came out but Ospreay v Roddy will be great.

Next time somebody needs to win just as the next guy makes his entrance and he looks bewildered the match is over before he could get in.

I know there’s no way they just decided to do it during the show but in kayfabe it felt like that. they didn’t announce it until well into the show and each new entrant felt less like they drew a number and instead ran from the locker room to the ring faster than other guys

I liked the surprise aspect, the commentary really added to it. Idk if they actually weren't briefed or just sold it well but I like spontaneity in my rasslin and this was as crazy as it gets lol

I loved in, in my head there was like 20 guys just standing around at gorilla. They just had to listen & see if their music played to know if they were coming out next.

Yeah, everything about this was chaos but by the end it kinda worked

Such a fun concept. I loved the idea that you never knew when another wrestler was coming, it upped the excitement, because it could be about to end, only for the pin to be broken up by a new entrant. They need to repeat this and expand the concept. It was tremendous.

Definitely they should use this concept more than the Casino Battle Royals which sucked outside of maybe the DON 2021 one

Probably my favorite newer match concept, this side of that War of Attrition that Warrior Wrestling does. I think it starts 4 vs 4, then winning team splits in a into 2 vs 2 match, and that winning team wrestles each other 1 vs 1.


Though admittedly I've never actually watched the War of Attrition matches, I just like the idea.

Yeah this was way better than the confusing mess the other similar matches have been. Still a bit of a mess but at least it’s a fun one.
