www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEg5P_s8sxMRandom facts. This event took place during the same weekend as Woodstock 99. Both events were held in NY state but very far away from each other. Also both were held on PPV. Woodstock was shown on what is now known today as InDemand 2 while the other was held on what is now known today as InDemand. On a personal note, I had to attend a wedding that took place that weekend in a Thousand Islands, Canada and to commute from my then-home state (NJ) to Canada, by driving through NY on Friday and then again on Sunday.

Weird, as I love WB now, and another favorite podcast, Acid Washed Memories, just reviewed WS 99.

The whole Reliving the War series is grand, really well done. I wonder if any talent from the time watch it? As for the modern era, I think Eddie Kingston mentioned in an interview he is a weekly viewer. I can see myself rewatching the whole thing once he gets up to WM 2001 (he says he ain't doing the Invasion). Haven't watched the review yet but from memory, FL99 is one of the better PPVs in a summer where they were quite mediocre. A notable moment is HHH mentioning the curtain call (and Kev & Scott with real names) and blaming JR for killing his push in the aftermath on the pre-show Heat.
Exciting times coming up: Y2J's debut, E&C/Hardys rivalry starting, Ventura coming in from the cold and Russo jumping ship to WCW all happened that late summer/fall I think.

He did a special intro to one of the episodes - I think the one where he had his first big face turn rejecting the Outsiders' invite to join the nWo.

Reliving the Wars is great. He's now at stuff I actually saw at the time, which is a bit mental, tempus fugit.
Fully Loaded I remember sitting up to watch live. Still have nostalgia for it.

I like Reliving the War, I've been in with it since episode one because I'd already started watching the show before he started it. It's quite refreshing having someone go back and look at this shit with fresh modern eyes and make you realise that in 1999, you kinda wonder why anybody watched *either* show some weeks

Just yesterday, I listened to Bryan talk about one where it felt like, in his words, "The Monday Night Wars were in full swing!" because of how good both shows were. That one show was in July 1999. Surrounded by a bunch of bad shows and about 4 years into the actual ratings wars. And just to add, while we're talking about it, for all the complaining about wrestling now, there's zero way either WWE or AEW would start a show off with something in comparison to Wrath vs. Mike Enos. Not even the NWA in the year of our lord 2024 would do that. How did either company win?

Also, the narrator said Dennis Knight on his podcast mentioned that he was high on drugs during the “wedding” of Stephanie and Undertaker. I like it when he mentions things like that.

Some of them are hilarious like the Mean Street Posse and Steve Blackman.

I've been watching a lot of the Reliving The War series and I find myself smiling whenever the little video intros for guys like Blackman or Alex Wright are shown. Plus, I just find the narration to be very pleasant and informative, while being funny at the same time.

As someone who missed much of the Monday Night Wars mainly becaue I just lost interest in Wrestling at the time. It's really great catching up on what I missed out on.
In a way it's weird watching it with Hind sight.. I.E Knowing that guys like B****t, Malenko, Guerrero and Saturn etc are just 6 Months away from jumping over to WWE.
Jarett will soon be back in WCW etc.
Course there were bits I was dreading like when around early may 1999 we were nearing Owens passing etc.
But overall worth checking out.
and I enjoy the gimmicks
Road Dogg: Ladies and Gentlemen boys and Girls, Children of all Ages.
Bret Hart: Shut up.

Came across Wrestling Bios by accident and got hooked on Reliving The War.
At the time, I didn't have Sky so my fandom was the WWF Videos so it fills the gaps
Like the Theme Remixes and when certain characters and storylines start to appear that you know is going to be a big deal down the line, like Al Snow's Dog
Certainly hindsight is making things look bad but at the time it was in the moment kind of thing
