When they do car scenes in TV shows, they use prerecorded scenery footage to make it look like they're driving, when they're really not.
During Falls Count Anywhere matches, WWE could use prerecorded scenery footage to make it look like the wrestlers are fighting all over the arena, when they actually never leave the ring. This would be easier and safer for the wrestlers.
(Little iffy on this one, honest feedback is appreciated.)

Didn't undertaker and Mankind do something like this in their boiler room brawl match years ago where the fight in the boiler room was recorded well before they actually fought in to the arena?

What a strange idea. And how is it supposed to be easier or safer?

I can’t find a link to a direct application but: corporate.wwe.com/careers/life-at-wweThey need you on the team now. And to expound on the idea, in the event they don’t want to waste money doing live shows anymore they could just have wrestlers have matches in front of a green screen and put an image of the ring behind them. Print that money 💰

Would love this just for the intense level of internet sleuthing to determine when specific scenery is reused. "As you can see this elbow at the June showing at 2:31 matches up with this elbow from May at 4:45."

So has anyone else seen the old AWA footage where they just shot in a dark room and filmed about 5 shots of people at a bar and pretended that's the crowd they're cutting to?

Just have them wrestle in front of a blue screen, then project the background you want when needed, whether that's in the ring, backstage, outside, inside , in a car, in a bathroom, at a McDonald's, in a McDonalds' bathroom, at the zoo, at Grant's Tomb, on the ocean floor, on the surface of Mars, in a Looney Tunes cartoon, or on a medical display of the digestive tract.
The possibilities are endless.

why not just forget using actual wrestlers and just do their entire shows with wwe 2k24 game play.

I want to see them do that and hit the random select button, and it gives us NWO Cena vs. "just called up from OVW" Cena, just because I want to know if they'd run with it.

Alternately, they could make it a "Falls count anywhere...inside this ring". That would make it easier since they wouldn't have to travel around the arena.

Take it one step further… “falls count nowhere.”

They shot the brawl earlier. One of the first cinematic matches in WWF/WWE. I think it'd been something like the night before. In general, I think this could sometimes be practical, especially if you wanted to do something wild like have such a match somehow end up away from the arena, like the Booker T vs Austin brawl in a convenience store, etc. It'd also maybe be useful for keeping a tight handle on time management, since you could put in points where you can edit a little bit off of it, and other little things like that. WWE does these matches infrequently enough, though, that it probably isn't really a huge concern.
