Can't decide what to do. I have the opportunity to work overtime tonight at a store inventory. Money is good. Sharon is running the inventory and came to help me in mine this morning. On the other hand, I'm tired as hell and still sick from Christmas time and I could really use the sleep. I'm also having problems with my car and don't exactly want to go that far away or drive through / near / around Pittsburgh at this hour of the day. I'll get paid to drive down there though.
Ok, 30 minutes.. the clock is ticking. Should I stay or should I go ?

I'm always been an advocate of skipping work so rest up.

Go to work and sleep for the entire weekend. Problem solved EDIT: Seriously, if you feel that bad not to go for one day, I'd say just sleep it off. If you need the money badly, go. If you don't, stay.

can't sleep all weekend. I work Saturday night till about midnight, up for a 6 am grocery inventory that will last all morning, 3 PM American Eagle inventory and then to the office at 8 AM.
Somewhere in there I have to go nurse a sick horse and be perky for when the kidlet comes home from the sperm donor's

If skipping would screw over your coworker, then go. Think of the overtime cash.

I'm going to repeat that because it bears repeating. If it weren't for your horse (a four legged animal that goes giddy up giddy up), you wouldn't have spent tonight napping (an essential function to human life)? Don't think about this for too long or blood will start shooting out your nose.
